1990 CHEVY BERETTA STARTS THEN DIES31 Aug 2007 16:30 GMT3
I have  a 1990 Chevy Beretta  it will start but will not stay running
for more than a second or two. The fuel filter and fuel pump have been
replaced, the fuel pressure is good and we have spark. I could really
use some advice on what to try next?
Clutch Upgrade31 Aug 2007 04:04 GMT16
It looks like I'll be replacing my clutch sometime soon (89 5.0 LX
convertible, 5 spd, of course - about 110k mi).  Usually when I have
needed repairs I have to get done, I try to see what performance I can
add on, with the same labor bill.  I'll definitely get the rear main

Next Corvette To Go Mid-Engine.  Next Cobra...?28 Aug 2007 05:08 GMT25
A while back I wrote about the possibility of the Corvette, Viper and
our beloved Cobra switching from strictly RWD to all-wheel drive.  The
thinking was with all three cars now offering 500+, further increases
in horsepower to stay ahead of the competition would become a joke.

Ford already makes a Corvette Killer called the GT40.
'94 Mustang check engine light25 Aug 2007 16:01 GMT6
I have a '94 Mustang with the 3.8  engine that was rebuilt 25 000 miles ago.
Idles smooth, starts great and has no hesitation. Everything is as it should
be. A month ago I filled it at a gas station I usually don't go to and after
about 1/8 of a tank being burned the check engine ...
Intake manifold torque settings25 Aug 2007 07:11 GMT3
Any advice on the intake manifold torque settings for a 351C 4V
with an Edelbrock 351 4V LB Performer?
The original cast iron settings were 23 - 25 for 5/16 bolts
and 28 - 32 for 3/8 bolts.
Need help deciphering code for a Mustang24 Aug 2007 16:50 GMT8
I know very little about this car which I purchased 25 years ago and

I saw that some people have all the information about the vehicles.
Can anyone help me with this code.

This moron has jammed this NG. I will now delete it

there is ittle chance for the free exchange of information.
Idiot MI523 Aug 2007 09:47 GMT2
Michael Johnson, I know about kill files but my ISP does not
have a NG, so I use Google Groups which has no filters that
I know of. Idiots such as MI5 are detrimental to the free
flow of information in any newsgroup.
Headlight Replacement Followup23 Aug 2007 02:49 GMT3
A few months ago I queried the group about replacing the hazed and
crazed headlights in our 2000 Mustang Convertible.   Prices ranged
crazily from $100 to over $300 for what looked to be the same lights.
I settled on X3Racing Supplies, on Ebay.  (See them here:
