"Best" manual for Fox Mustangs?07 Sep 2007 04:31 GMT1
I've been looking at various repair manuals for my new (well, to me
anyway) '89 LX 5.0.  I bought a Haynes manual from AutoZone and am really
unimpressed with it.  I guess I need more and better illustrations - sort
of a "Mustangs for Dummies" book.
AC shuts down when on the gas, check engine light on.06 Sep 2007 05:16 GMT6
All -
I have had a new (to me) 1989 LX 5.0 for about a month and a half now.
When I got it the AC worked fine.  I had a new AOD transmission put in it
a few weeks ago and immediately the check engine light came on.  The
Next Generation Camaros with 500HP06 Sep 2007 03:34 GMT3
According to Ward's Auto, an experimental 6.2-liter, direct-injection
V8 producing upward of 500 hp could be factored into the next
Chevrolet Camaro equation. The engine would coincide with the Gen V
version of the small-block V8, based on GM's existing all-aluminum Gen
Power seat Switches for 89 LX 5.005 Sep 2007 22:24 GMT3
Hi - the seat switches on my 89 convert are starting to give up the

other Ford models used the same switches - I have looked in some T-
Custom tune and Ford dealer maintenance05 Sep 2007 19:47 GMT9
For my '07 GT, I plan on putting in 3.73 rear gears, a cold air kit
and a custom tune by Xcal2. This is the first mod I've ever done
(actually I'm gonna have my hot rod shop do the work). I usually have
my cars dealer serviced. Does anyone have advice on how I should deal
anyone there?05 Sep 2007 08:15 GMT20

This moron has jammed this NG. I will now delete it from my
Google Groups. Unless Google stops this nonsense there is
little chance for the free exchange of information.
PATS04 Sep 2007 03:02 GMT2
I posted before with a PATS problem with my 2006 Mustang.  I mentioned
that I had put a Saleen supercharger in the car and that the dealer
was claiming that is what was causing my PATS problem
Update - I spent 5 days experimenting with the car in the Florida
C4 transmission newbie question02 Sep 2007 19:53 GMT6
Hi all, I'm new to this group and to my recently acquired  65
fastback. I've only had the car a couple of days and it is a real
beuty, original, unrestored and I'm as happy as a pig in sh.t with it.
I have one question which some of you gurus out there may be able to

I keep getting offers to buy my 5.0, little notes stuck on the windshield,
this one makes 5 now in the last year.
