07 Mustang Brake Question29 Feb 2008 15:34 GMT1
I have a 2007 tungsten V-6 convertible and several times this winter
have experienced a problem where the engine seems to be idling at a
higher than normal speed when I am braking.  I have to brake much harder
than normal to get the vehicle to stop.

My thoughts about the Ford Mustang28 Feb 2008 06:02 GMT2
It may be the popular opinion but I am going to point out that while I
like all the new models of Mustang the late 60's and early 70's models
are untouchable.  Nothing compares to them in looks and even though
they got fairly bad gas mileage by todays standards, having one is

Mustang tuning FM frequency26 Feb 2008 23:17 GMT2
I noticed that tuning the FM frequency on my 95 Mustang radio only
works in uneven frequencies, i.e. 99.1,99.3,99.5, etc.  Is it possible
to make it tune to even numbers.  I live in South Africa and need to
find an even number station to tune my iTrip to play without being
GT40X kit info?25 Feb 2008 23:10 GMT6
Cant find anything usefull on fordracing.com these days. This kit
comes without roller lifters, with 1.7" roller rockers.
First off, just curious if it will give significant gains on the low
end. Throttle response, torque, etc. Will the high lift be too much

89 Mustang door hinge pin removal25 Feb 2008 13:17 GMT1
Well, I finally got the bottom half of the bottom pin out this afternoon. I
had to drill a hole through the center and then take an air hammer w/chisel
to it! Now, I can't get the top half out. Seems the bushing is holding it
tight. I've tried hammering on a small crowbar ...

Just installed a new C4 in my 65FB and while trying to align the
shifter (oem full console) I found that the shift control assembly is
worn out and needs to be replaced.
Though maybe someone might have one from doing a conversion from auto

So who won the KITT car?21 Feb 2008 04:32 GMT2
NBC gave away a SE GT 500 KR KITT car, also a Focus and  2 other
models. I couldnt watch the new knight rider last sunday for more than
5 min it looked so terrible. But I wouldnt mind winning that car.  Id
drive it a couple times, sell it to pay off my house, AND buy a new GT

Door hinge pins19 Feb 2008 02:28 GMT7
Could someone tell me a good tool to use to cut the old door hinge pins of a
1989 Mustang LX? I have a pair of "bolt cutters" but the nose is not long
enough to fit between the door and the fender. It is a rolling restoration.
Thanks,
89 top end kit?18 Feb 2008 15:51 GMT12

rods, EFI intake AND roller rockers! BUT they dont include the roller
lifters for the roller cam. Is that because its ok to reuse stock
