cam swap w\ AC21 Apr 2008 05:11 GMT4

the way? can it be dropped enuf to get the cam in over it? without

Hey NoOp Patrick -- it's time to go GTO shopping!20 Apr 2008 07:05 GMT16
I've got the bug and I've got the money and I'm getting me an '04, '05
or '06 GTO.  I drove an '04 w/auto trans on Saturday and these things
are nice. Even the '04, with the 350 hp LS1 5.7 liter, will flatten
you to the seatback in first and second.
Ah, Spring19 Apr 2008 14:53 GMT2
Beautiful day today. Clear skies, high 70s, good thing I've got a '93 GT
convertible.
When I went out to lunch, I popped the latches, pulled the switch... and
nothing. I do believe that I've lost my power top motor.
Summit MAF OK?18 Apr 2008 17:40 GMT2
Anyone out there ever get a MAF sensor SummitRacing brand? Looks like
thats my only choice for a 75mm 24lb calibrated sensor. Granatelli and
Ford Racing dont make em that small. Pro-M is the only one that makes
the same size sensor and Ive never heard of them.

Mileage - 2006 GT Coupe.16 Apr 2008 15:31 GMT1
To all concerned Mustangers.....
We took our first long distance ride. 2006 GT Coupe, 4.6L w/ Auto Trans.
We went from Tampa, Fl. to Florence, S.C.  We turned 1050 miles using
the interstates. Route 75 and route 95, traveling at 70 miles per hour,
oil question13 Apr 2008 20:51 GMT1
My 1994 Mustang with the 3.8 engine seems to be going through a bit more oil
than normal. It's not leaking out anywhere and there is no smoke of any type
when I start it or run it. No smell either. My guess is it's getting past
the rings. The engine was built about 40 000 miles ...
check engine light-93 LX 4 cyl Mustang11 Apr 2008 15:27 GMT2
The other day my check engine light came on. Car was still running
fine except that the tach was jumping up and down with no real
relation to my speed. I wasn't able to check anything that afternoon
and didn't crack open the shop manual. The next day, back to normal,
1994 Mustang hinge pins10 Apr 2008 20:14 GMT1
The driver's door is in need of new hinge pins. I've been told I have to
take the panel off, disconnect everything and then take the door off to
replace the hinge pins. Looking at this, it seems that if I support the door
with a couple of jacks I could probably take out the hinge ...
70 Mach 1 mustang09 Apr 2008 19:25 GMT1
I'm restoring a 70 Mach 1 mustang. When I drive at night with the
headlights on.... my left blinker light indicator arrow starts to
glow. The blinkers work and the hazard lights work. Do I have a short
in one of the bulbs on the left side? Otherwise everything electrical
The GT500 insanity continues...09 Apr 2008 16:17 GMT6
I don't think I'll ever understand WHY people get so crazy when it comes to the
GT500.
I previously posted how, after looking for quite some time, I stumbled across
one for $500 _under_ MSRP. I was pretty darn pleased. All said and done, with

spark plug change on passenger side (2000 GT)07 Apr 2008 02:36 GMT1
I had no problems with driver side plugs.
Before I start on the passenger side, do I need to remove just the
intake MAF hose or some other stuff???
I read that the fuel rails just need to be loosened (which did work on
89 GT vacuum lines04 Apr 2008 10:14 GMT2
Apparently these are unique to Ford, one of those inovative
designs :). In the passenger side back corner of the engine bay theres
a "brick" connector with 4 vacuum lines going to the air pump, the oil
filler neck, the manifold, etc. One of them snapped like a twig. Im in
Cars with a 351W04 Apr 2008 03:07 GMT2
Does anyone know or have a list of all of the cars that ford put the
351W in?
I am rebuilding a mustang with a junk 289 in it and want more power so
i am looking at upgrading to a 351W.
