Super-rich oil companies offered nothing to automakers27 Apr 2009 19:21 GMT18
Their customers (automakers) left to hang, while they raked hundreds
of billions $'s.
The "people" had to bail them out.  Odd, isn't it?

96 GT wiper problem24 Apr 2009 14:32 GMT11
The windshield wipers just gave up! Came out to go home from work, turned on
the wipers and nothing! The intermittent feature has been working sportily
over the last few weeks and now the whole bit is out. High beams and turn
signals still work from the lever but just no wipers. ...

[Q] 17" 2005-09 mags on 1997 GT23 Apr 2009 05:09 GMT1
Card's on the bar - I have a simple question (or two).
1) Would 17" mags/tires off a 2005+ Mustang GT fit on a stock
1997 GT, or would they rub?
2) Would these same 17" mags/tires off a 2005+ Mustang GT fit
Oil company math21 Apr 2009 18:53 GMT13
Five years ago.  Oil, $47/barrel.  Premium gasoline, $0.559/litre.
Today: Oil, $48/barrel.  Premium gasoline, $0.909/litre.
It's nice of them in this time of economic problems to really pitch in
like this.
U.S. Gov assumes responsibility for GM, Chrysler warranty repairs21 Apr 2009 18:44 GMT9
Judging by past (non)responses to my posts on the Detroit bailout, no
one in this group seems to be paying much attention to the on-going
voyage of this ship of fools adventure.  But this is the latest, that
Pres. Oprompter included in his stern (but finger-wag free)

A question about performance chips21 Apr 2009 03:44 GMT7
Reading other threads about replacing chips for better
performance made me wonder if there were any of these
chips on the 1984 Mustang/Capri 5.0s, or do we just
tune the "old fashioned" way by checking the timing,
Nice price, no wonder Chrysler is going bankrupt21 Apr 2009 00:10 GMT5

Pretty cool website, I know Bosch has some awesome wiper blades and

Pretty cool site.
67 289 Valve Seals18 Apr 2009 23:25 GMT2
Hey guys, been a long time since I've been been here.
I decided to replace my valve seals, as I have no idea if they had
ever been done, and I've had some blue smoke.
Sure enough, two were completely disintegrated under the valve cover.
1995 Mustang 5.0 GT- towing-RV18 Apr 2009 16:19 GMT2
My dad has a 95 stang, 5.0 with the 5 speed and we're at odds regarding the
towability behind his RV. He claims that he needs to disconnect the
driveshaft, because the output shaft will not turn any of the gears to
lubricate it. I towed a 63 Dart from AZ to Sacramento on a dolly ...
Shifter extremely tight after ATF change18 Apr 2009 04:18 GMT49
I just had my manual tranny fluid changed (the shop used synthetic
ATF). The first day all was ok, but this morning, shifting was pretty
tight the first 5 minutes or so. (It was a cold night). Is this
normal? With original tranny fluid, shifting was always smooth
