Hey guys, on my '93, I'm wondering if there is a way to tell what springs I have in the car, and rear control arms. And, are the rubber bushings (tie rod ends, sway bar) black from the factory? Mine are green so I suspect they're aftermarket too. I'm the 3rd owner of the car and ...

| 1984 Mustang/Capri 5.0 with a factory turbo or supercharger? | 26 Jun 2009 05:11 GMT | 4 |
Is it just my imagination? I know that some Mustangs of the time had the 4cyl turbo, and a supercharged V6 was available in some Ford vehicles according to web searches. I have it in the back of my mind that there was a turbo/supercharged version available on

Ford Mustang Car writers say nothing looks, drives or feels like a Ford Mustang, whether you buy one new or used. More importantly, buying used rather than new will help you get that retro-cool vibe the current Mustang is known for.

My wife has a '99 Mustang GT convertible and it's having problems retracting. It retracted last summer/fall (I think), now it's having problems when it's the front left (drivers) edge of the top is a foot or a foot and a half above the stowed position. It's a sudden stop like ...

Keene Bell gave me $300 off repair/upgrade of my 8# blower right at the end ! I was joking with them gearhead style all along. I do that normally with anybody that has a mustang, musellcar, or a blower

| 8.8 rear end questions | 18 Jun 2009 02:51 GMT | 10 |
My '83 GT has a Turbo Coupe 8.8 in it, and it's grinding. It only grinds when making a turn, and only after the car has been driven for awhile. All the info I can find suggests that thelube is worn out/too thin, and that seems to be the case. When I drained it, it was quite thin ...

| Help identify Shelby | 15 Jun 2009 15:51 GMT | 7 |
I'm a bit confused. A few days ago I drove by a 2-3 year old Stang. It had Shelby logos and Cobra snakes on the sides. It didn't say GT500 anywhere though. Was this some sort of kit that a guy modded his regular GT with or was there an actual non-GT500 Shelby Cobra made

Looks like an interesting vehicle with a twin turbo V6 cranking out 360HP, but a 4DR sedan isn't on our wish list. Still, I'd like to drive one! Dick

I bring my 84 Capri 5.0 into the local Goodyear (people I trust) once a year for lube and oil. Sometimes I'll drop the car off the night before, and I always remind them that the car doesn't have fuel injection, and you have to pump the

I picked up a pristine 2007 Shelby GT Saturday in OKC and headed South on I35 to DFW (home). Gorgeous day, light traffic, cruising at 70 mph. I got about 50 miles when a passing dually sent a rock into my

| Ignition problem update | 08 Jun 2009 17:08 GMT | 6 |
For anyone who cares... I posted a while back about my 1993 not starting. Sometimes it starts fine, sometimes just nothing. Then, it will start fine. Then nothing. You get the idea. Turns out it was the ignition switch. Follow up question: WHAT is with that rattle the car makes ...
