Oil can be made31 Aug 2009 04:40 GMT6
Methane gas is an abundant natural resource. It is CH4 One part carbon 4
parts hydrogen. It is emitted by Animals and rotting garbage.
In a recent experiment some Methane was subjected to intense pressure and as
a result Crude oil was the by product. One of the big oil sayings and ...
Cash for clunkers?27 Aug 2009 07:37 GMT81
Anyone here want to trade in their "gas guzzling" Mustang
or any other vehicle for a new ... Toyota or another mundane
vehicle? I didn't think so. As I understand it, the vehicles
that are traded in have to be destroyed. Personally, it seems
Fuel efficient vehicles27 Aug 2009 07:28 GMT21
Slightly OT, and I totally agree with fuel efficiency and
less dependence on oil, but ...
A slight problem also needs to be addressed - less gas tax
revenue. In Minnesota and probably many other states, gas tax

Well, TFrog is back from the shop.
When turning the key to ON, no sound from the fuel pump. No fuel pump, no
start. I'd have thought it was one of two things - either the fuel pump
crapped out or the fuse link was bad. But, no, mechanic traced it back to a
Unmodified Fox GTs Hard to Come By23 Aug 2009 19:51 GMT11
I've been searching for a straight and unmodified 1986 Mustang GT for
over a month and am having trouble locating one. Are these finally
getting rare? Most of them I'm finding are poorly repainted, abused,
full of tacky aftermarket add-ons, and sporting "phat" rims. The only

While driving a 1993 mustang 5.0,  it just died and rolled to a stop,
It would start up again go for awhile and then the engine would stop again,
Sometime it would not like to start. But I got it home about 2 miles away,
The battery show quite low voltage, when it was stopped. ...

Rear Gears?14 Aug 2009 19:04 GMT3
Is there that much of a difference between 389's and 411's?  I have 456
gears in my Ford 9" right now and want to switch it over to something a
little better for short highway trips.  Any suggestions?

Mustang 5.0 Coyote V8 on the way13 Aug 2009 03:24 GMT13
Rumors of the legendary 5.0's return have been nonstop since, well, the 5.0
left us way back in 95 or so. An Australian Ford executive, Russell
Christophers, has confirmed that the Blue Oval is building an all-new,
all-aluminum DOHC 5.0 liter V8. The codename of this project is ...

4.6L.? I am looking to put a 70 or 75 MM Throttle body-- anybody have
any suggestions on what one I should go with? Engine is completely stock
springs07 Aug 2009 13:58 GMT4
What springs would lower an SN95 mustang (1997 GT in this case) no more
than inch?
Maximum motorsports hasn't replied to my inquiry, global west springs
look like they'll do but are kinda pricy. Bullitt springs would do the
93 Mustang PS Steering assembly07 Aug 2009 04:50 GMT1
Does anyone have experience replacing their steering assembly?  I have
a broken u-joint, and the mechanic can't find a replacement joint.
Flaming River and Maximum Motorsports both make performance steering
assembly replacement kits.  Has anyone used one?  Do they drop right
Removing engine decal07 Aug 2009 03:07 GMT1
Anyone know how to best remove the Cobra sticker from the 1993 Cobra upper intake. I know they are glued one but they seem to come off in a million little pieces. There HAS to be a better way? No?
Thank you.

1989 door panel speakers07 Aug 2009 03:04 GMT2
I have read a number of posts on this but am looking for some recent
info.  And, before I try to take off panels and covers (and wrecking
them!)  I thought I would post first.
First, can JUST the speaker covers be taken off the door panel
Can I get by without a E150 Ford van?07 Aug 2009 03:03 GMT1
I'm on my 3rd E150 since 1981, and I've found them to be
very comfortable, and the only way to haul camping stuff,
vacation stuff, and many other items. We've been flirting with
the idea of replacing the E150 with a smaller vehicle - maybe
