   im rebuilding a 400, have rebuilt a 400, and am having trouble with
my ignition switch, i have installed a new switch, new starter, and
silanoid, but my switch still doesnt work, i can turn the switch on and
cross on my sylinoid and all works. any ideas?

4.0L engine/auto transmission - 85,000 miles - no check engine light. Friend
sez that when it happens, he can get it started and keep it running by
holding down the gas pedal just a little. If he takes his foot off the

The idle on my 2001 Expedition 4.6L goes up and down between 500 and 800 RPM
quickly when in gear like at a stop light.  When it is in park it idles just
fine.  I just put new plugs in it.  This problem existed before the new

Just bought a '75 F150 with the 360 motor. In addition to the bad exhaust
gasket, 2 of the top bolts are broken and a 3rd broke in my clumsiness. Any
help on extracting the studs would be greatly appreciated.

I took my 1993 F-250 to Midas for a brake inspection because they were
squeaking, and they said both front calipers have torn boots, and that I
should have them both replaced (for a hefty sum) or they could seize and my
brakes would lock up.  I'm not sure what they mean by a "torn" ...

I have an 88 F150 4X4 that clunks in the front end. It does this whether I
turn stationary in a parking lot or when i am moving. Turning left or right
doesn't seem to make a difference either?
I've already replaced the Radial Arm bushings becasue I saw wear there.

Is there a method of disabling the speed limiter on a 2003 f250 superduty
5.4 triton?? Without using a hyperchip??

I have an 86 F150 with a 302 efi engine and a C-6 tranny. A nice truck
but........to make a long story short the motor has decided to retire. I
have located a nice 89 Crown Victoria with the same 302 efi (I think the
302s are the same) for about $450.00.

Do you keep track of how often you pull your RV to change the oil in a
7.3 ? . Or should you change every 3000 miles to make sure you are doing
it as you should ?. The cost seems to be high for an oil change.
