2003 F150: Odd steering noise27 Sep 2003 06:14 GMT2
This just started about a month ago (got the truck back in May). Anytime
I'm stopped and just turn the wheel a little bit back and forth, like
within the "play" range, I hear a strange thump and feel it on the
floorboard. It doesn't matter if the brakes are applied or if the ...
speaking of parking brakes...27 Sep 2003 05:33 GMT10
I was told that I should ALWAYS use the parking (emergency) brake, even
though I have an automatic. Is this true? Is there any damage I could cause
be always using it?

1990 Aerostar - No Start - Poor Spark27 Sep 2003 02:15 GMT3
Gentlemen:
I've got a 90' Aerostar that simply died one day. It still turns over but
will not start (fuel pump sounds fine). I pulled one of the plug wires and
the spark is very weak. What would be the likely suspect? Distributor?

I am planning on buying an ex-air force bronco of the 80's flavor, not
sure which year though.
It's full size, of course, with removable top. It has a 351 w/ about 75k
miles, roll bar, 5pt harness's, and is slightly lifted from stock.
Hubcaps still keep falling off 03 van26 Sep 2003 23:08 GMT8
I'll be going to the dealer today to have hubcap number #4 installed in my
03 Econoline 150 van. A brand new van with less then 1500 miles, I've lost 3
hubcaps all on the same right front wheel. Even the wheel was replaced by
the dealer thinking it was the problem only to lose a ...

Tranny  Question26 Sep 2003 02:08 GMT6
I have a 2000 F150 2wd with a 4.2  and 5 speed. The truck was diagnosed with
needing a new clutch slave cylinder and I'm going to have the clutch
inspected while its there. My question is at what point of clutch wear is it
worth it to have the clutch replaced. Normally I wouldn't ...
'01 F350 Door Panel Removal25 Sep 2003 02:57 GMT1
The driver's side door lock doesn't always respond to the keyless entry
remote so I need to get inside the door to see what the problem is.  Can
anyone enlighten me as to how to remove the door panel.  There are no
obvious fasteners and I don't want to break any little plastic ...
300 Exhuast manifold gastget25 Sep 2003 00:46 GMT2
I have a 1995 150 that has an exhaust leak at the rear manifold. It
looks as if there is no gastget on either the front or rear. I have seen
this on other engines. Is there a way to repair this without removing
both the intake and exhuast? I don't think there is but small part ...
Excursion questions25 Sep 2003 00:17 GMT4
Hello all,  I have the opportunity to purchase a 2000 Excursion Limited with
the V10 and 4.30 axle.  The truck has @ 22,000 miles on it.   This is a
private sale so there is no warranty and the 3 years factory warranty has
lapsed as the in service date was early in 2000.
'94 F150 Window motor24 Sep 2003 15:24 GMT4
The power window on my '94 F150 has been acting up on me.  The window
goes down absolutely fine.  Coming back up is the problem.  It gets
stuck, and also makes noises.  If I grab the window and sort of pull it
up, it comes up fine.  Do you think I need a new motor, or is this
'93 F-250 power door locks buzzing24 Sep 2003 07:32 GMT4
I just purchased a 1993 F-250 XLT and it has a problem with the power door

loud buzzing sound like it's still trying to lock the door.  Anyone run
across this before?  Is it the actuator, or the switch that's ...

Computer Reprogramming23 Sep 2003 19:37 GMT2
I have recently moved and am working out of the house now.  I was driving my
2001 F150 XL daily about 50 miles at highway speeds (80 mph in Dallas
traffic).  Now I work from home and drive about every 3 days in city.  Would
I gain anything from reprogramming the computer (i.e. - ...

it up? I have tried armor all but no luck?
