Hi all, I recently posted two askes for help on issues.  I have received
many responses and I thank you for that but they all have had imbedded worms
so they were deleted before I could read them.
Just a heads up to all to update your Norton or McAffee.

My '98 F150 super cab 3 door has an intermittent problem with the door
ajar light and the interior light staying on after the doors are all
securely closed. Can anybody tell me if there is a fix for this problem?

My Ranger acts like it's running too lean when the engine is cool or when I
shut down for an hour then start up and take off. Kinda bogs down for a
minute, then is ok.(Just like it needs choking!!!)

speed. I think the ratio is 5:38 ? or something like that.
I have a question about mpg atg certain rpms. I haven't been able to calculate

Can anyone tell me where the fuel filter is located?  I bought this truck
late last year, and now its not running so good.
While driving, the 'check engine' light comes on and the engine dies
immediately.  Sometimes it starts back by itself (like if you had popped the

My window washer just stopped working no problem with the wipers which
are on the same fuse. How hard is it to remove and replace the pump and
where is it located? Would I be better to have the dealership fix this
problem?   I had no sign of this going out it just stopped always ...

thought I smelled gas near the back of the truck.  I have two tanks, 94 F150
4wd- two tanks.
brought it into  the shop, they had it for a day and at 75 bucks an hour
they couldnt find it but yet I can still smell it.  I had the front tank

I have now experienced my second break in into my 2003 F250. it seems all it
takes is a screw driver to pry the plastic hanlde plate up and then a little
more levergage to pop-out the lock cylinder.
Have others experienced this and what can be done?

I have a 95 f-150 XLT subercab with auto hubs (dashboard activated).  I want
to check one of the front bearings while I'm doing the brakes (I'll probably
also cut the rotors).  Directly inside the chrome 3-screw (T25) hub is a
cast (magnesium?) part that I have no idea how to get ...

I assume I need to depressurize the fuel line before disconnecting the old
fuel filter?  How do I do this/where do I find the valve to do this?

can tell me what the black plastic handle in the driver's foot well is on my
2000 Ford Ranger
Anyone know?
