I've been lurking here for some time and gathered quite a bit of
useful information from you folks...so I've decided to share my
experience with those who might be interested.

I own a 92' F-150, 5.0, 4X4, Auto.    While changing the oil the other
day, I noticed a rust spot on my oil pan.   There is also a VERY slow
oil leak from this spot.     A friend of mine told me he did not think
the pan could be changed out with out pulling the motor.   Is this

Gentlemen:
I have a 91 Ranger equipped with factory air (R12). I bought a set of R134a
gauges and adapters to use. However, the adapters are for screw-on hoses and
my hoses are quick-disconnect. Can someone let me know where I might locate

Does anyone know where the factory keypad code is located for a '01 F150?  I
don't have the card that is supposed to be in the owner's manual.  The owner
manual says it is located on the computer, where is that?

I currently have a 91 Ranger (2.3L, 2wd, 5spd) and have a change to procur a
wrecked 1994 Ranger (4.0L, 4wd, 5spd). Is it possible to use the engine,
transmission and transfer case out of that 94 on my 91 to convert to 4x4?

My brother has my 93 Ford Ranger.  He went to work fine and when he
went to leave, the truck had no power at all...nothing.  He had
someone give him a jump as he thought it was the battery being

I'm new to this group - and new to trucks as I just purchased my first
one, a 2003 F-150 SLT Supercab.  Love the truck!
One thing that has been bothering me a bit is that I've been hearing
lots of stories about these trucks breaking tierods - just snapping them

Background:
I was stopped at a red light when a moving van making a right hand turn
