I have a new 2003 E-150 Econoline cargo van that keeps losing hubcaps from the right front wheel. Have lost 3 in the last 1400 miles. Dealer replaced the wheel last time thinking it was defective but lost number 3 hubcap just last week from the new wheel.

| 1988 F-250 power windows problem | 19 Sep 2003 13:38 GMT | 6 |
In one day, my driver's side window went from perfectly operating to not going up at all. Definitely sounds like a stripped cog. The truck "only" has 130K on it, is there an easily replaceable cog, or does the unit itself have to be replaced. Is this a known problem (i.e. they ...

I'm not Scrape, but hope this helps. Also, I once helped on a front end rebuild on one. Pain in the a.s, but it can be done at home if you have jack stands, floor jack, and the tools. Better with two people like we did. Go ahead and put some quarters in the

| Reprograming new chipkeys? | 18 Sep 2003 16:54 GMT | 10 |
The dealer wants $125 bucks for a new key and to reprogram it. I found a web site ( http://www.nvo.com/chipkeys/displayroom1/ ) that offers ford chipkeys for $16.50 and said I could reprogram the key myself, check the owners manual. I checked the owners manual and it said I could ...

| Window Leak | 18 Sep 2003 07:36 GMT | 4 |
I have a 97 f150 extended cab. The rear window (sliding) is leaking on the passenger side. I have read that it is a design flaw with the window, and the whole window should be replaced. I have also heard that it is the "halo"? What is that? And how much do you think this would ...

hi have a f150 xlt w/ 5.0... Just recently the steering became jerky and lacked fluid movement. It seems to be getting progressively worse. It's like the power steering kicks on, then off.... especially at low speeds. It's very jerky, and the car wheel doesn't wind back ...

| Modifications voiding Warrant | 18 Sep 2003 04:08 GMT | 2 |
I'm sure this has been asked many times before, but I was wondering, will performing aftermarket modifications to my 2003 F150 void the warranty. A magnaflow exhaust and an Airforce One air intake kit are what I had in mind.

| 79 F-350 best way to secure hood? | 18 Sep 2003 04:00 GMT | 1 |
What's the best way to lock down the hood on my '79 F-350? Would prefer not to drill holes for hood pins. Is there a source for the locking hood latch, and did they work? Thanks for any info, you can see pics of the truck on my site below.

I have a 1988 F350 4x4 with a 5.8l 351W. Anytime I drive the truck I have a hesitation on light acceleration but not when I put the pedal down. I ran the test for trouble codes and it tells me I am running rich (which I can smell). The check engine light comes on after about 20 ...
