seating a thermostat in 351w???????02 Oct 2003 21:08 GMT5
Is there a trick to getting the thermostat to seat properly in a 351w. I
just changed mine in an '87 and can't get it to seal for the life of me. I
don't know if it has something to do with the fact that it's a vertical
housing or what. Any tricks? Thanks.

I took my truck (99 expy xlt 4x4) in for brake issues and the dealer called
me back to tell me that I was missing my sway bar.  I've never heard of
somebody missing (losing)  a sway bar.  Could this actually happen?
So long --the Aerostar is no more02 Oct 2003 04:46 GMT1
Well, the 1993 Aerostar is no more as soon as Purple Heart tows it
off.  They will auction it off, probably for a few hundred bucks.
Darn good engine, tires with perhaps a 1k on them, Michelins.  New
battery, new exhaust...on and on.  Darn.

Hi..
I have an E150 1988 with 302 EFI. And I think when I look at the frontwheel
when the car is parked that it looks like the wheels is going a bit in at
the top and a bit out at the bottom. Like it is nealing a bit? Is this a
a little rattle...02 Oct 2003 00:42 GMT2
I have a 97 f150 v6. I am hearing a rattle (not REAL loud) when I first
startup in the morning, after I drive about 15 minutes or so it seems to go
away. Is this just a "colder weather thing"? The noise seems to be at the
front (radiator side) of the engine. Any hints appreciated ...
'95 Ranger seat bolt01 Oct 2003 17:21 GMT4
I recently took my '95 Ranger XLT 4x4 into the dealership where I bought it
for some body work and to have the front seat repaired.  The hinge facing
the drivers side door that the seat pivots on has two bolts that attach the
backrest portion of the seat to the hinge plate.  One of ...

I have a 99 Ranger, extended cab with a 4 liter, automatic, 2 wheel drive.
Sitting at a light for about 30 seconds and wham!, the truck feels like it
was hit in the rear about 5 mph by another vehicle.  No,  I look and the car
behind me is about 10 feet back.

I have a 2001 gas F250 SD with 4x4. Its time to get rid of the OEM
original LT235-85-16 tires.
I want to stay with the same size, but go to a moderately aggressive
tread, and I want studs.
