Followup: Wham! 99 Ranger26 Oct 2003 01:10 GMT5
Well, I have waited about 3 weeks to have an engineer at Ford ask around
about the 99 Ranger acting like it got rear-ended when in gear with the
brakes applied.  No one at Ford that he talked with had ever heard of such a
thing.
Shock question25 Oct 2003 07:21 GMT4
My Ranger makes a squeaking noise on the front end when ever I go over a
bump.  I only notice this when I'm going slow, especially over speed bumps.
Does this mean that I need new shocks?  Or is it something else?
Thanks in advance,

I am experiencing a problem with misfiring at the #2 cylinder on my '95
Ranger 3.0 six.  I have replaced the plugs and wires but when I disconnect
each of the wires from the coil pack they all will arc except #2.  Could
this be anything other than the coil pack?  I have ohmed out ...

Hello all;

this truck since new (best and most trouble free vehicle I ever owned, I might
add) and it still runs that way. One little thing that has always irritated me
95 F-150 5.0 Engine Miss24 Oct 2003 22:26 GMT3
When I parked my truck sat afternoon it was running fine.  Started it up
Monday morning to go to work and it had a miss.  It would not go away (the
miss), but does not make a sound like it's a mechanical problem (valve
etc.).  I checked the wires and they seemed fine.  Truck was due ...
thinking strange thoughts on engine swap24 Oct 2003 22:26 GMT5
Hello all, I have had a thought that has run through my head for some time.
I have a 88' F-150, not to much to talk about in terms of how fancy she is.
She has the 4.9L (why did they kill this motor? anyway) and she has had a
rough life.  This is where my thoughts get a little ...
Changing the timing belt on my car. Need advice.24 Oct 2003 14:42 GMT5
Hi. I have an '86 Mitsubishi Cordia and I am trying to change the timing
belt on my car. I'm waiting to see if someone will lend me a chain
wrench in order to remove the pulley in the crankshaft spot. In the
meantime, I thought i'd ask a few questions.

Lightning blowing fuse24 Oct 2003 07:32 GMT7
My son's Lightning is blowing a 15A fuse that, we think, signals if it is Park
or Neutral and when blown it prevents him from starting the truck without a
screwdriver across the solenoid.
Any suggestions for trouble shooting?  No codes are being thrown.
