3.0 L v6 4x4 in stop and go traffic (still on first tank full, bought last

Have replaced: thermostat, rad cap, water pump, and fan clutch.  Truck
still over heats intermittently. It will over heat at a stop light and
sometimes at highway speeds.  But not everyday.  It has me real puzzled.
 Any other suggestions?

I have a 2001 Supercrew.  The lights above the doors in the back seat get
extremely hot to the touch when used for even a short time.  I always have
