I love my truck, but about five times in the 2.5 years I've owned it it fails to start when warm, once or twice after very short drives. 1/2 hour later it starts on the first hit. It's just about like clockwork, 1/2 hour and no problems. I've had it into the dealer three times and ...

| Lightning: | 30 Apr 2004 10:31 GMT | 1 |
I have the opportunity to pick up a Ford Lightning for 27k. It is a brand new 2004. I guess trucks are moving slow right now. A local dealership, and this dealership is kind of large, had a red tag sale last weekend and sold only 1 truck off of the whole lot.

I've got a 1980 Ford F-100 I bought new in 1980 with an inline 6 and no A/C. It has always run in the "normal" temperature range until recently when it started running right on the "cold" line of the gauge. I thought it was the thermostat, so I replaced that. Now, when it's cold ...

| cruse oontrol | 28 Apr 2004 18:11 GMT | 1 |
I had a Ranger 96 with a 4. liter in it until I recently bought a new F150 crew cab. The cruse control seemed to kept the ranger at a constant speed even going down hill with out stepping on the brake most the time. My new F150 I have noticed doesn't kept the adjusted speed very ...
