I am looking for a used 2x4 work (light construction) truck with an
automatic transmission in the $4000 to $6000 range. Is there a
production year I should avoid for any reason?  I was thinking I might
save a few bucks at the pump and buy a diesil. Anything wrong with this
Adjusting fuel air mixture - fuel injected ranger17 May 2004 08:15 GMT5
I've got an 88 ford ranger, 6-cyl. with fuel injection and it seems to
be running very rich.  does anyone know how to adjust the fuel air
mixture or know of any webpage that describes how to do this?  I've
got the Haynes repair manual but that doesn't tell you anything about
Stock rim size of '89 F15017 May 2004 04:27 GMT3
I just bought an '89 F150 to use primarily as a dump run truck.  You don't
get a heck of a lot for $500 but I'm pretty pleased with this one from a
mechanical stand point.  The brakes are being done now.  It will have to sit
in the drive-way so I'll have to clean it up a bit.  Right ...

I have a '96 F150 L6 and have been told by a dealership that the "check

process of running the fuel level down in the forward tank, and then running
exclusively on the rear tank, I have discovered that fuel is ...

Starter Problems???16 May 2004 05:20 GMT4
My starter failed and I replaced it.  I have a '93 F250 4x4 diesel.
This starter worked fine for a while and then began to jam when I turned the
key.  It got worse and worse and finally failed.  When replacing it I
discovered the positive lead on one of my two batteries was very ...

I have a 1998 Ford Expedition. It has 97,000 miles on it and I have
had very little trouble with it. I bought the truck new from the
factory. I have taken very good care of it. After a trip on the
expressway (30 mins.) I pull into my mothers driveway and the check
"Beefier" power steering pump?15 May 2004 23:45 GMT3
Anyone know where to find a higher capacity power steering pump?
Aftermarket wheels/big tires on my '02 superduty sometimes stall the
factory unit 'cuz of the backspacing on the wheels and the larger
contact patch.  Any way to give the steering hydraulics more "oomph"?
95 Ford Bronco 4X415 May 2004 18:39 GMT6
I need a right front wheel rotor.
I was thinking of going to a 'pick & pull' but no one seems to have a 95
Bronco 4X4.
Are there other models/years of rotors that I could use instead?

I bought a 2000 Ford F-550 that has a Western Hauler back on it (the

need to buy replacements. These are the longish oval shaped lights
held in by a black rubber seal. The only number on the back I found is

I'm having some popping and clicking coming from my transmission as I
