Throttle Body Spacers13 May 2004 20:52 GMT3
Anyone have any experience with TBD's for the F-150 4.2L V6? Do they
increase torque as advertised? Does the fuel mileage increase?
Would like to hear all comments.
Thanks Larry

bulletin board or another notice board to sell it on . We had it in

new water pump12 May 2004 16:11 GMT8
ok, you're dealing with a rookie here.
I installed a new water pump in my 1990 f-150 5.0 litere v-8 tonight.
Once the new pump was in, and all the fluids replaced, I hopped in the
cab, tried to start her up and...it just cranks, never starting. I
Q: Connect Driving/Fog Lights.....12 May 2004 11:43 GMT1
I would like to connect aftermarket driving/fog lights up to
the existing switch in an Expedition, 1999 model.  Switch seems to
have the pull function, wires in in the proper location under bumper,
and from what I can tell, the fuses and relays are in place.  But no
How tough is the 5.4?12 May 2004 05:21 GMT6
Was looking in a service manual at the 5.4 V8. Looks like it has a very
short piston skirt. Do they hold up? How about the automatic used behind it
in the new F250?

Manual transmission Diesels12 May 2004 05:02 GMT6
I'm trying to find a regular cab 4X4 Diesel with a manual transmission.
Finding hens teeth would be a lot easier. Is this a rare truck or am I just
looking in the wrong markets? I can't even find a V8 or V10 gas truck like
this.
engine service codes12 May 2004 02:45 GMT4
Is there a way for me to read the engine service code when the Service
Engine Soon indicator comes on?  I know that on some vehicles I could
put a meter on the the diagnostic socket.  You get a timed pulse output
which could be interpreted to be a number relating to a specific

Have any of you guys put a roof rack on a 97 ford ranger?  (splash edition)
That would be on the front of the cab (regular cab), and on the cap (which
has 35" width)
Thanks

'95 Explorer Speedometer doesn't work..09 May 2004 04:02 GMT2
My speedometer just stopped working today, I've got both the Hanyes &
Chilton manual but they don't seem to help.  I know I've got a VSS instead
of a cable but that's about it.
Anybody know where to start?
'91 F150 Serpentine belt 09 May 2004 00:21 GMT4
I just replaced my alternator, and now I can't get the belt back on!  I
removed the tension
pulley, and the belt is still to tight to get over all of the pulleys. The
replacement alternator
