I have a 99 F150 SC 4x4 4.6 with auto trans. Has anyone had any mods done to their auto trans to make it shift more 'positively'? When I am driving in the hills, the transmission just doesn't seem to spend much time locked in and the shifting is quite mushy. I think that the

I have a new 03 Ranger that I've had for 2.5 months. I put a cd in the slot on the radio and it won't come out. The dealer wants to take the radio out, send it to a non-Ford repair and charge me for the problem. My question is this: Can I free up this disc without the lame ...

Hello to everyone. I just bought a 1990 F-350 4x4 diesel to use as a work truck. It needs a bit of work, so I was looking for shop manuals. I see that some of the manuals (at Helm), are for Super Duty, and some are not. What is

| What transmission do I have? | 08 Jun 2004 01:11 GMT | 2 |
Is there a chart of year v. engine v. model v. tranny somewhere? I have a '00 E150, with the 5.4L engine, and would like to know what transmission I have in there. A chart would be useful in researching tranny failures due to towing loads.

Headed home from work last night and made the last stop before turing on to my street and heard a gawd-awful grinding noise from the rear end. Pulled into the driveway and heard it again. Popped the rear wheels off and sure enough, rear pads are toast. Kind of confusing
