I just got a 90 F-150 4x4 w/ a regular cab shortbed. It has gas tank in the
rear behind the axle where the spare tire usually goes. Right now the spare
is sitting in the bed of the truck, does anyone know where the spare was
originally mounted??

I could use some advice. I changed the rear axel gasket last year and
now it is leaking again. I don't remember what kind of gasket cement I
used and I did not buy the gasket from Ford. I am thinking to buy a
Ford gasget this time and use there cement. Any advice on this axel

I have a 1986 Ford F-150 V-8  4spd, it's in very good condition and I want
to keep things running.
Just lately I noticed that the A/C doesn't seem to have a full charge.  Has
anyone had any luck with converting

Any recommendations, observations, or similar stories?

I have a 95 Powerstroke f250 and in the last couple days its not
wanted to restart when its been running (for example at the gas
station)  It turns over like a champ but wont ignite. If I let it sit
for 30 min. or so it'll start, but even then the motor has to turn
Removing pitman arm/power steering pump27 Jul 2004 08:38 GMT4
howdy!
well, the power steering on my 94 F-150 finally quit on me. I checked
to see if the leak is in either the supply or relief lines, but it
appears to be leaking at the actual gear/pump assembly itself. So im
shift-on-the-fly 4x4 operational help27 Jul 2004 04:31 GMT10
I have a 99 F250 superduty 4x4 with shift-on-the-fly.  This past weekend
I got stuck while in 2 wheel drive.  I didn't have much room to manuvuer
front to back, maybe 6 feet.  I flipped the switch and the 4x4 light
iluminated on my dash.  Long story short, after an hour of ...
Still on the Starter Solenoid Welding27 Jul 2004 03:33 GMT3
Got out the torque wrench today and checked the turning torque of my 351W.
With the plugs pulled and all accessory drive belts on, it takes 70ft.lbs of
torque to start this engine turning.  Once turning it drops to about 50
ft.lbs.  This is a new short block with less than 1000 ...
labor cost question26 Jul 2004 15:53 GMT3
OK, this last thing and I'll quit cryin. I had the PCM relay replaced
(on a 97 Ranger) and today I went under the hood and the relay/fuse
box was left open, revealing the fact that changing the PCM relay was
a very simple matter of *snap*click*snap*.

Anybody know about the 2.3L in a '90 Ranger???25 Jul 2004 20:10 GMT1
I have an oil leak and I "think" it is the front main seal. The only problem
is that there is a bunch of stuff in the way that I am not used to working
with, like the crankshaft position sensor. If anyone has had experience with
this engine or this leak problem please look at these ...

air condition of a 2001 Ranger25 Jul 2004 04:35 GMT1
I have a 2001 Ranger.  Does Ford use a special kind of air conditioner?
Compare to other vehicles and trucks, it seems to me that it only takes a
very short time for the Ranger's air condition to kick in to blow out nice
cold air.  I  am here in Phoenix and the temperature is ...
