Anyone know if they match, or how far off they are? if its possible to do a

92 Ford Ranger air conditioning08 Jul 2004 07:43 GMT8
Hi all I hope someone can help.  I am trying to justify to myself fixing the
faulty air conditioning unit in my truck.  Its the 3.0 v-six I should say first
of all.  Well it used to work fine until about three years ago and then just

1999 Ford F-150 pickup v-6 engine problem08 Jul 2004 02:06 GMT1
engine runs fine when cold, but once it warms up, it randomly misses,
and at any rpm.  it will be running along just fine, then start to
misfire, then back to running fine.  New plugs, wires, air temp unit
have done nothing.  On cold days, it seems to have more power (normal)

F350 GCWR06 Jul 2004 15:51 GMT6
I have a 2001 V10 F350 4x2 3.73 LS SRW.  I tow a 30' Sea Breeze fifth
wheel and I am exceeding the GCWR by about 1500 lbs which is stated as
17000 lbs in my owners manual.  The trailer pulls just fine but of
course I am worried that I am over working my truck.

child safety seat install F-150 xtra cab06 Jul 2004 11:47 GMT1
I have a question regarding the child safety seat installation in my 1997
F-150 extended cab.  The seat base sits up very high in the middle of the
rear seat and is very difficult to place the child carrier in.  My
father-in-law threw out his back the other day lifting and twisting ...
80 F250 gas tank sender06 Jul 2004 06:02 GMT3
I just got a 1980 F250. The rear tank is still there but the tank under
the belly had been removed. I am thinking of removing the switch-over
valve on the gas line. (Any problems here?)
The wires to the remaining tank was unplugged but replugging still
97 Ranger check engine light06 Jul 2004 02:33 GMT4

Sometimes my check engine light comes on.   A half a tank of higher octane
fuel makes the light go out after just a few miles.   Any ideas?
Thnx.
Ranger EGR valve problem. code returns as 401 flow insuffient 06 Jul 2004 01:06 GMT7
It's been in the shop twice, the last time they replaced the EGR valve
and if I recall O2 sensor, the latter fixed the slightly erratic idle
but the light is back on. I finally bought a code reader ($40 from
harbourfreight.com) after being screwed for $65 for the garage to
None knows noise?05 Jul 2004 22:49 GMT1
So nobody out there ever had a Ford truck with transmission trouble? That's
amazing. I've got two and they both have debilitating transmissions.
But I'm just trying to get an idea as to what's wrong with the FMX in my
'73.
Clogged Radiator in overheating 30205 Jul 2004 16:50 GMT2
Thanks for the replies, guys. It seems the problem is heavy deposits in
the radiator. What can I put in to dissolve it? It's whitish and hard,
probably lime or similar. I'm thinking of taking off the lower hose at
the block, and clamping it closed (upper hose removed too, of ...
