I just wanted to know if it was too good to be true, because like most

While driving last night my Over Drive light on the end of my gear shift came
on. Normally that means OD is off. But after pushing the button on the end of
the gear shift it turned off and pushing again it went on. (Over Drive not the

I recently bought a 2003 F250 which has the light switch for the fog
lights(pull out for fog lights) but no fog lights were installed.
Under the front bumper are 3 wires comong out of a loom that look as
though they were cut off.  Two are tan with orange traces and the

I finally got a DC amp meter and checked the draw on my starter that keeps
welding solenoids shut.  The inrush current is 495A and running current is
250A.  Does this seem excessive?  The starter has no problem turning the
motor and none of the cables get even warm after 10-15 ...

My '73 F250 just started making a noise. It seems to be coming from the
tranny area (automatic FMX). It does not do it at lower speeds, only after
(approx.) 40 mph. The sounds resembles a ratcheting sound. But load, in a
box, aluminumish. Anybody heard that noise?

My local trusted Machanic wants to charge me $350.00 labor to replace
the valve cover gaskets. He says its a lot of work to remove and
