I have a 1994 F-150 with a 302-V8. It has 135,000 miles on it. The engine is making a ticking, or rattling noise at lower RPM while driving. I assume this is from the valve train. What could it be and what should I do about it?

This problem is on a 96 Ranger XLT, 2 wheel drive, short bed I am fairly certain that I have a wheel bearing going. The sound that it makes is speed related to tire and wheel rotation. Hard to describe but kind of a "critch, critch, critch". I have tried preloading each

I've an F150 4x2 which is mostly used for hiway driving, with a couple of NY - LA runs thrown in during the year. Installing an anti-sway bar (rear?) has been on my mind lately, I was just wondering if anyone with one already installed think there was noticeable improvement in the ...

| brakes-hissing noise | 20 Sep 2004 06:33 GMT | 5 |
Although my brakes seem to be working OK, I am hearing a slight hissing noise under the dash. This noise almost disappears when I push the brake pedal in slightly. These are power brakes. My first thought was the vacuum host going up to the booster (I believe)

| F-250 - Diesel Maintenance? | 18 Sep 2004 20:43 GMT | 10 |
I have managed to talk myself into wanting a F-250 Diesel, (crew, 4X4), used. The gassers out there seem to take great pleasure in ribbing oilers about maintenance. In the real world, what are the major maintenance differences?
