In my quest to get my freshly rear-ended truck back together, I've
been kicking around the idea of getting either a smoothie bumper or
the OEM bumper with the back up sensors..

99 Ranger 3.0 L Spark Knock09 Oct 2004 19:16 GMT1
I get a spark knock, not octane ping, when under average to moderate
acceleration, seems to be more when I am ascending an incline and just
add a touch more throttle to keep speed steady. It only does it on 75°
days or warmer, and only after computer enters closed loop operation.

Sunrise Ford in North Hollywood, CA just got their first Escape Hybrid in

1984 Ranger 2.8L no air, auto, 2wheel drive.  I replaced the alternator
and then noticed the alternator light was on.  I checked the system for
charge voltage and amps: all is fine.  The only thing is that red light in
the instrument cluster!  Anyone know what this is?
Water Temperature Sensor(s)?07 Oct 2004 17:15 GMT1
Have a '96 F150 w/ 300 6 cylinder, 5 speed manual.
Water temperature has been acting screwy lately.  Air from the heater was
warm, but didn't seem quite as warm as in the past.  The gauge was reading
10 to 30% lower than in the past, and a little erratic.

Limited skip in Reverse06 Oct 2004 15:54 GMT7
I have an 04 F-250 with a Limited slip rear end.
Over the weekend I got stuck while backing up in gravel. THe left rear
tire just spun. I had expected the limited slip to kick in and lockup
that wheel. It did not. I had to engage the 4 wheel drive to pull her out.
