fuel gauge problems06 Oct 2004 15:52 GMT1
I have a 1988 f-150 with the 4.9 EFI engine, maual transmission. When I
first bought the truck, the rear gas tank would work fine until it got down
to about 3/4 of a tank. Then it would start bouncing from full to empty and
about the time it got to 1/2 full, it fell to empty. The ...
2005 Ford Truck Changes?06 Oct 2004 15:50 GMT1
I don't know about Ford, but GM has taken a few steps backward with
its 2005 Silverado and Sierra 1500-series trucks:
There are 3 differences in standard equipment for 2005:

Saet belt retractor tension06 Oct 2004 04:04 GMT9
I have a 2002 Escape that the front driver's side seat belt is needing a
little help retracting all the way. I was wondering how hard it is to add
more tension to it, if at all possible. I can get to it myself even though
the car is still under warranty. I'd rather do the fix ...
Got rear-ended yesterday...05 Oct 2004 19:48 GMT8
I got completely pasted in my F350 by a Honda Odyssey minivan
yesterday morning.  I stopped for traffic in front of me, the other
guy didn't.  He hit me so hard, he pushed me UPhill into a Honda Civic
and then another 10-15 feet.  The Civic rolled about 30 more feet up

piston- I just  got  the motor rebuilt.
The problem arises I had all the bolts- intake manifold, exhaust manifold,
motor mounts, bell housing bolts, fan, starter, radiator bolts- every bolt

Hello group,
I was wondering if anyone can tell me where the MAF is located on a 4.6L

Thanks

1993 Full Size Bronco04 Oct 2004 17:46 GMT8
I have a '93 full-size Bronco, 5.8L, E4OD, leather.  It has 127k
miles, runs perfect (knock wood), body is near flawless, paint is
probably 90%+ condition.
I'm considering dropping about $7k into it, motor, tranny, interior.
2004 Supercrew 5.4L vs 2004 Nissan Titan Crew Cab04 Oct 2004 16:50 GMT7
Looking to buy one of these trucks.  Driven both. Both are nice and will do
what I want them to do.  Price edge goes to Ford.  Power edge easily goes to
Nissan.  Any other issues to worry about?
2003 SportTrack Problem04 Oct 2004 05:10 GMT2
My wife's 2003 SportTrack, when you tilt the steering column all the way
down, into either of the lowest two positions, the left rear taillight won't
work, turn signal or brake. (Same bulb)
I realize it's a harness problem in the column, but I am hoping someone has
1994 F150 fuel gauge problem04 Oct 2004 02:09 GMT12
My fuel gauge does not work on the fron tank only. Pumps work fine both tanks,
rear tank gauge works fine. Front gauge was intermittent for a few weeks, then
quit entirely. Is this likely to be a loos wire, or is there another component
that is suspect?
CBS Goes To Far!03 Oct 2004 19:06 GMT25
I don't know how many of you know that Dan Rather and 60 Minutes (CBS News)
ran a story attacking George Bush and his time in the National Guard.  One
of the basis points of this attack garbage where documents which have now
been determined to be forgeries!  Rather than admit to ...

Has anyone ever heard this one......
I've been hearing a "clank" sound from somewhere underneath my 97 F150 2x4,
stock wheels, for about a month. It happens everytime I just start out or
