I have just purchased an '01 4x4 F-150 and would like to find out what transmission, transfer case, axle ratio, bla, bla, bla.... anyone know of a site that will help me figure this out? it has a 5.4 and automatic tyranny - I would like to find out what ratio

I recently bought a 1979 F100 pickup. It has a 351 in it and I have learned that the carborator has no float in it and that it will be easier to replace the whole unit, than to crack it open and fix it. I have never done this before.

Has anyone added a small amount of gas to a diesel by mistake and what did you do to save the motor.? I did it last week even after I said how could someone make that mistake when filling up . The only lucky thing was I knew I had pumped in gas after 2 gal was already in the ...

how can one make a truck stealthy meaning invisible or harder to track on radar.... is it possible to apply a radar absorbing coating..... want to either absorb traffic radar or scatter in such a way that any returns are

Is there a way to test the EGR valve? I have removed and cleaned it. It didn't look too bad. However, I still have a "ping" while driving. Gary

I replaced the spark plugs in my '94 F-150 (with 302). I bought Motorcraft AFS-42C. A diagram under the hood says the gap should be 052-.056. So I set my gap and installed the plugs. It ran like crap! So, I go and buy new plug wires. Same thing!
