F-150 Soft brake pedal - fixed!!!08 Dec 2004 03:24 GMT5
Thanks to all of you who offered suggestions on my brake problem.  It turned
out to be a defective master cylinder and a re-built master cylinder with
the exact same problem.  My first clue was the new MC failed the bench bleed
process.  They replaced under warranty and the ...

I'm looking for the tailgate latch {with internal parts} for my 1995

I've Googled for about an hour, any sources would be appreciated.

Hi Group, I have an '87 Motorhome on a Forf 350 Chasis. I have a cracked
exhaust manifold and was wondering if I should put duals on while it was in
the shop. I don't want it to sound any louder though. Would I see any
advange doing this? Any advice would be welcome.
dual gastank rust, windshield>>ideas??04 Dec 2004 23:52 GMT2
Okay, I have an '82 F-100 which is old, needs paint, etc. but I am
keeping it - it has dual tanks, and my mechanic, after doing a bunch
of work on it, says he put new gas filters inside the tanks, besides
the filter at the carb.  He said the rear one is full of rust...
vibration/rumbling sound04 Dec 2004 20:27 GMT6
1978 F-100, 300 six with C-6 automatic, extremely high mileage, and at a
steady cruising speed, it has a loud rumbling and vibration that goes
away if you let off the gas or mash accelerator pedal. Any ideas?
temp gauge ideas??04 Dec 2004 18:43 GMT2
My  '82 F-100's temp gauge doesn't work, and it's the gauge itself -
any ideas on a cheap solution? Thinking of getting an aftemarket gauge
and wiring it in...is this difficult? It's cold now, but summers can
be incredible hot in GA...I have an '86 300 six in the truck...thanks
F-150 Oil Pan04 Dec 2004 16:49 GMT5
I replaced the rusted oil pan on my 1993 F-150 4.9L (2Wd 5-spd).  It
took 4 hours.  Probably a pro can do
it in 2.
My repair manual (starts with an H) listed extra steps like: remove

How can I remove the steering wheel center cover on a 1996 Ford Ranger
to get to the Broken cruise control mount, and is there a handy-man
fix or will I need to buy a new board?
An Aside, has anyone discovered a way to replace dash lights

1996 Ranger?03 Dec 2004 02:07 GMT1
Had a problem, (I think) w the positive lead from the battery to the
starter/relay. Kind of a pain to replace, much to my amazement I have no
juice in the trucks electrical system with the exception of the relay
itself. I can jumper the relay and get the engine to turn over, but ...
