| Valve Spring Compression Tool | 27 Feb 2005 00:12 GMT | 4 |
We are changing valve seals on a 88 Ford Ranger (2.3L I4). Is there a special valve spring compression tool that we need to use? Cannot get the one I have to work and the tool shown in the manual we are using looks like a pry-bar type?

| So who makes Wild Country tires for Les Schwab? Anyone know? | 26 Feb 2005 22:55 GMT | 5 |
If it is Bridgestone, OK. If it is Goodyear, I'm staying with the Bridgestone name on the side of the tires.... Thanks, H.

| experiences with camo? | 26 Feb 2005 17:08 GMT | 7 |
As soon as it gets warm I'm going to follow my original plan and camo my '82 F-100. The Krylon is cheap and good, and no disgust after a Maaco job. Rough sanding, rust converter, primer, and then much use of stencils...easy to do @ my work parking lot, and errors are just

| Tires for Ranger? Wild Country XTX? | 25 Feb 2005 22:31 GMT | 1 |
For my 99 ranger with P265/75R15, I am not able to get Michelins. They do not make this size and the local dealer won't go with a "close Fit".) They do offer the Bridgestones and also a Wild Country tire, which has the same warranty and a similar tread patter to the Bridgestone.

| 2005 Expedition-throttle question | 24 Feb 2005 21:09 GMT | 1 |
Just got a new 2005 Expedition and I'm having a little trouble getting used to the throttle. Apparently it's an electronic type, which is a first for me. When pushed it seems to travel a bit from the stop before the engine starts to pick up the rpm. It's not much of a problem on the ...

| Question... | 24 Feb 2005 21:02 GMT | 9 |
Is there a major advantage to buying the Ford 250 V10 over the standard V8 (300 hp)? I'm no authority, but seems that 300 hp would be adequate for plowing and pulling a 25' trailer. Dave

| Oil Pan | 23 Feb 2005 14:59 GMT | 2 |
Anyone know where I can buy a (preferably new) oil pan for a '73 F250 2 x 4 with the 390 engine. I need one with the drain plug at the rear, not the side. I'd even consider a chrome pan.

| What is wrong? | 23 Feb 2005 10:36 GMT | 24 |
I don't know if this will even give you close to enough information to make a guess but I figured I would post anyway. 95 F150 6 cyl 4WD. I was driving down the highway about 70 then all of a sudden the oil gauge went below low and the engine started ticking and all engine power ...

| what color is toreador red? | 22 Feb 2005 12:44 GMT | 6 |
I'm looking at a Ranger on the internet. I see one that's listed as Toreador red and it looks sort of orange-y. It's a 99. Is it red or orange? Anyone have one of these? Can't stand the Longhorns and can't drive a burnt orange truck.

| carb help, please...300 inline 6 1-barrel | 22 Feb 2005 07:54 GMT | 6 |
My '82 F-100 flunked the GA emissions test, and my mechanic said he can order a new carb for it (he gave me an okay on 2nd test). I understand that he doesn't want to waste time w/garbage, but I feel he's gonna slap me with an expensive carb.
