gauge never registered a thing.  It's my understanding that there isn't a
sender, but a switch with a resistor in it, so that the gauge always reads

I am going to get a new company truck - '05 F150 Super Crew 5.4L.  I
know to look for the RPO codes on a GM vehicle, but where is the info
on a ford?  Anybody know what the tow capacity is?
