I have a 1999 f-250 4X4 with a 7.3 engine and have quite a transmission problem. As long as the truck is in neutral or drive there is no problem but as soon as I shift into reverse the transmission begins to absolutely gush fluid. It looks as though the fluid comes from

The rear oil pan bolts on my 96 F350 4x4 were found to be missing and/or loose. I found new bolts and tightened everything up, but the leak is still there, so no surprise. The thread about the Ranger reminded me. Is this gasket one piece cork, rubber, or what? I'm trying to ...

Can anyone tell me where the fuel filter is located on a 1999 F-250, 4X4 with a 5.4L gas engine? Also, is it very difficult to change? I drove the truck about 3 miles and it was idling a little rough when I stopped. I managed to get the truck home but now it will not start. I'm ...

I've got a 1990 ford ranger, with 2.9 liter EFI package. About three years ago, I had to replace the O2 sensor after, well, it 'died'. Symptoms had been loss of power, bucking at highway speeds (on a flat stretch, having to down shift to maintain speed), and loss of gas

| 2002 f150 wheel noise? | 04 Aug 2005 19:00 GMT | 4 |
I have just started hearing a knock, sounds like it is in the passenger side front wheel. The sound only occurs when hitting small bumps in the road in the normal course of driving. When the brakes are applied, even lightly, the sound goes away. I was thinking calipers or ball ...

| 96 5.8L Throttle position sensor | 04 Aug 2005 14:36 GMT | 4 |
Got a 96 F350 w/ a 5.8L in it and lately more and more when I press the gas pedal the truck will hold up for a second then sort of surge to catch up to the pedal's location. If I do it slowly I can tell exactly where it happens.

Hi. I've got a dumb question for the group. I own a '95 Ext cab F-250 PSD 4x4 with the XLT pkg. My brother just bought a '97 Ext cab F-250 PSD 4x4 "Heavy Duty"... What makes the distinction between rgular F-250, and F-250 Heavy Duty?
