| 1998 Ranger U-Joints | 28 Sep 2005 14:09 GMT | 2 |
I'm getting a sound from my front end that sounds as if I'm running snow tires with agressive treads, I suspect u-joints. Could be a wheel bearing too I guess. it seems to quiet down as I turn to the left. Does anyone know how hard it is to replace the u-joints in this truck?

| 1999 Ford Ranger: loud whining noise | 21 Sep 2005 01:28 GMT | 4 |
I recently bought a 1999 Ford Ranger with 52k miles from a dealership. It whines pretty noticeably, maybe within 10 mins of startup. I live in Atlanta and it's pretty warm here so I run the Air Conditioning. BUT this happens with or without the AC running.

| Check Engine Light - 1996 Ranger | 20 Sep 2005 22:39 GMT | 6 |
I have a check engine light that will not go out. I've had it checked by a technician who reset it and the light did go out for a day or so when it reappeared. I'm at the point where I find the fuse and remove it, but I'm wondering if this is a common problem.
