Anyone try one of those do it yourself bedliner kits?14 Sep 2005 03:51 GMT12
I'm talking about the kind that is "painted" on similar to Duraliner or
Rhino Linings.  I saw a do it yourself kit at the local parts store.  I'd
like to know how this has worked out for any of you guys out there.  I don't
much care for my plastic bedliner!

What would cause my 99 E350 5.4L to shift into 3rd late and very hard?
Shortly after that started, the shift solenoid pack quit, but replacing it
had no effect on 3rd gear?
Thanks in advance
2000 Ranger Cold Start Issue12 Sep 2005 23:22 GMT3
I have a 2000 Ford Ranger 4x4, V6, 4.0L and just started having a cold start
issue. When I start it up first time of the day (whether its cold or warm
outside), I noticed it almost dying (RPM got real low then came back up and
it was fine--no more problems starting it). It has done ...
fuel sender 95 Ranger question12 Sep 2005 19:09 GMT1
My fuel gauge quit working on my 95 Ranger 4cyl.  I'm pretty sure it's the
fuel sender/pump unit. What is the easiest way to get to the unit to replace
it? I've heard it's almost easier simply taking the bed off/sliding it back,
rather than dropping the gas tank. ????
Shift Gear Indicator, slipped!12 Sep 2005 19:01 GMT3
My truck will no longer indicate the gear selection.
It will still shift, it is drivable, but the safety break pedal, priot to
shifting is not working.
Visally inspected the linkage, could not see any problems.
Recall on cruise controls12 Sep 2005 03:47 GMT12
I caught the tail end of a news story today on a recall of Fords with
cruise control.  I'm sure it is related to the small recall we've
discussed here but I think they were saying that it is the second
largest recall in Ford history.

Ranger Edge deal went south10 Sep 2005 07:29 GMT5
The prices are good this weekend. $13843 before tax and liscense. KBB on my
'01' F150 is between $11,000 and 12,100. Kool! I asked the salesman
yesterday if the good low price on their vechicle was going to effect what I
got for my truck. He said no, it's worth what it is worth. ...
1999 Explorer09 Sep 2005 23:53 GMT6
My brother is looking at purchasing a used 1999 Ford Explorer Sport, 4Dr,
2WD with the 4.0L V-6 and automatic tranny with 113,000 miles (approx.
20,000 miles per year).  The truck looks very nice and runs well.  The
seller is asking $5500.00 for an all-cash deal.

Where can I find the service manuals for a 2005 F250?
Inadequate Defrosters09 Sep 2005 13:10 GMT2
I have a 2003 F250 4X4 and like the truck pretty much except for a
couple of things. One of them is the poor windshield defrosting
capability. In the winter time if it's snowing or sleeting, the wiper
blades ice up, ice collects at the bottom of the windshield, and
2002 Ford Ranger Edge 3.0L V6 "clanking" sound08 Sep 2005 18:43 GMT5
I have a 2002 Ford Ranger 3.0L V6 and was wondering if you guys could
help me with something. It’s not a real serious issue...... yet. I’ve
heard this sound on the road before with other cars and it’s not real
loud on mine. Usually occurs when I’m going up-hill and the engine is
General AC question08 Sep 2005 16:39 GMT7
Hey everyone,
Does switching from Normal AC to MAX AC do anything besides blow harder?
Does the compressor pressure up more or something or what happens exactly??
Not important, but just curious for some time about this.
