On the nut that holds the fan clutch, is that a left hand thread or right hand?
Thanks in advance

Cleaning the engine compartment @ the carwash07 Sep 2005 18:53 GMT24
I know there is a setting at the carwash that states it is for the
engine compartment. I have a 2002 Ford Ranger 3.0L V6. Will using this
degreaser and water damage or prevent anything from running? Is there
stuff I should cover up, or would it be a good idea to just not mess

blowing spark plugs05 Sep 2005 00:29 GMT2
A neighbour was asking me about my truck and how I liked it and so on.
I've got a 99 F150 Supercab 4x4 with a 4.6L and the offroad package and
160,000 km on the clock. He is looking at a 2002 F150 Supercrew 4x4 with
a 5.4L and the trailer towing package and about 48,000 km on the ...
Traded in my dodge for a ford04 Sep 2005 12:09 GMT10
Had problems with rust on my 2003 dodge. Had wheel well trims put on when I
bought the truck new. Took them off last July and there were a couple of
rust spots. Then where they screwed them on, paint was starting to rust
also.
f-250  4x4 front wheel bearings04 Sep 2005 03:58 GMT3
I have a loose wheel bearing on the left front of my f-250 4x4.  My mechanic
says the individual wheel bearings cannot be replaced but instead the entire
hub assembly must be replaced for over $300!  This doesn't make sense to me.
Anyone else have any experience with this sort of ...
vacuum canister04 Sep 2005 02:19 GMT3
I have a 97 f150 and the the check engine light just came on.  I took it to
advance auto and let them put an instrument on it to see what code it
returned.  It says that it was a vacuum problem.  I chased all the vacuum
that I could find and checked the ends.  All seem fine ...
1999 F-350 with Check Engine Light on...03 Sep 2005 07:20 GMT1
 A co-worker has a 1999 F-350 V10 and it has a steady Check Engine Light
on. I have an AutoTap Code reader and laptop engine Monitor. I will be
connecting this to his truck in a few days and will be searching for the
reason the light is on.
AC always on?03 Sep 2005 03:49 GMT7
I have a 2005 Ranger 3.0 V6 and it seems like the air vents are putting
out some very cold air even though the AC is off. Anyone else notice
this on a O5? Also can see a pool of water in my drive way which I
assume is from the AC, however the AC was not used.
3.0 hp02 Sep 2005 23:06 GMT3
Was looking this morning for the ranger 4cyl, auto xlt. Jeesh, nobody has
any. Anyway at one dealer they had a nice reg cab, 3.0 5 spd. auto'05' at a
good price and also a '03' certified with warranty to 75,000 miles. It has
about 22,000 thousand miles on it, and is a little over ...
98 Ford F150 4.2 still won't run02 Sep 2005 21:08 GMT1
Driving along fine when I suddenly have no power, check and sure enough
there is no spark, get that fixed and before I can get home it dies again
this time there is no fuel pressure. After changing the fuel pump and
filters it still runs rough. Have now changed the coil pack[twice], ...
04/05 ranger, 4 cyl., 5 spd. auto02 Sep 2005 04:29 GMT1
Any of you have one? I am going to be looking this weekend for one in hopes
of finding a xlt for the deal I want. Going to get rid of my F150. Just
wondering what your mileage is like. Had a 96 4.0 w/ the 5 spd. auto and the
5spd. really was nice in that. I realize it's gonna ...

Full-size Bronco strut bushing01 Sep 2005 03:21 GMT17
I have a '93 full-size bronco.  Both strut bushings were replaced
about 3 years ago.  Now, the passenger side strut bushing is shot.  I
can't readily explain why.
My question, is this a difficult repair.  I'm sure I own the necessary
