| Cleaning the engine compartment @ the carwash | 07 Sep 2005 18:53 GMT | 24 |
I know there is a setting at the carwash that states it is for the engine compartment. I have a 2002 Ford Ranger 3.0L V6. Will using this degreaser and water damage or prevent anything from running? Is there stuff I should cover up, or would it be a good idea to just not mess

A neighbour was asking me about my truck and how I liked it and so on. I've got a 99 F150 Supercab 4x4 with a 4.6L and the offroad package and 160,000 km on the clock. He is looking at a 2002 F150 Supercrew 4x4 with a 5.4L and the trailer towing package and about 48,000 km on the ...

I have a loose wheel bearing on the left front of my f-250 4x4. My mechanic says the individual wheel bearings cannot be replaced but instead the entire hub assembly must be replaced for over $300! This doesn't make sense to me. Anyone else have any experience with this sort of ...

I have a 97 f150 and the the check engine light just came on. I took it to advance auto and let them put an instrument on it to see what code it returned. It says that it was a vacuum problem. I chased all the vacuum that I could find and checked the ends. All seem fine ...

| AC always on? | 03 Sep 2005 03:49 GMT | 7 |
I have a 2005 Ranger 3.0 V6 and it seems like the air vents are putting out some very cold air even though the AC is off. Anyone else notice this on a O5? Also can see a pool of water in my drive way which I assume is from the AC, however the AC was not used.
