I'm replacing the disk pads all the way around on my 99 F350 superduty - I
carry a lot of weight in this unit (its a dually with a dump bed) and
anything to increase braking power would help.  Are ceramics worth the extra

Normal start
Turn on key -  Wait for light to go out   -  Start engine. -  Engine runs 1
miniute and alternator kicks in.

Virtually every time I start my `04 Ranger (4.0 Auto)  I hear, and feel a
thud coming from the engine\transmission area, as best I can tell from
sitting in the drivers seat.
Sounds like a stuck brake caliper when it releases.

i wanted to try it but afraid of eating up internal parts..but this guy
says he tested everyhing and no harm no foul.....i saw guy post in here

1995 Ford E250 4.9L L6 cargo van here.  The transmission pan has no labeling
or other identification.  Lot salesman told me it's a 3-speed, but this
same guy also initially told me it was a V8 (it's a straight 6).  Gear
shifter dial has 'D', '1', '2'.  I've been assuming it's a C6 ...

I just looked at the manual and it says to torque the lug nuts to 100
ft/lbs. It does not make a distinction between the steel wheels or the alum.
wheels that are on my vechicle. Is it the same for both? Also what is the
tolerance? I have an old torque wrench, but have no idea ...

When doing the disk pads, when is it necessary to re surface the disk?

96 full size bronco, Auto hubs aren't engagaging.
Buying warn manual locking hubs.

I just bought a 1995 Ford E250 Cargo van with 3-speed auto, 4.9L L6, 176k
miles. The tires are brand new Kumho Road Venture AT (P225 75R16 104S)
truck tires.  The car drives fine at normal speeds but I do hear some
