Which spark plugs are the best for this engine and why?

hi i would like to know what the differances between the AOD and the
ford METRIC automatic overdrive are. i have an aod in my 86 f-150 and i
have the metric one from an 88 thunderbird. i would like to know if i
can use the metric trans in my truck? any help would be apreaciated.

This oil leak location is vexing me.  I have a '96 F-150 I-6.  On
parking the vechicle I get about 100 drips of engine oil.  Last
September I changed out the oil pan gasket.  Right now I can't localize

Rearview mirror temperature sensor shows "cal" as well as temperature.
Does this mean the sensor needs calibration?

Have a problem with blowing out the glowplug relay on my 99 powerstroke.
Replaced it last Thursday, and it is out again today. I know of one two
others who have experienced this issue, they have resorted to starting with
ether. Fine in a pinch, but not my long term choice of ...

I did a system check with my neighbors mind reader and the codes that came
up were 411 and 412.
411 is Cannot control low rpm and 412 is  cannot control high idle.Would the
problem be the TPS Sensor. Thanks for any help.

My chilton is seriously lacking.
No mention of torques for any of the important parts.
1 carrier to housing nuts
2 axle retaining plates

Does any one knows if exist some F-150 Club web pages? There are for
Dodge and Chevy, but searching with Google, i cant find one for

I'm in the market for a used F-250.  Yesterday I drove two...a 1999 with 98k
miles...and a 2002 with 58k.
Both exhibited the same odd "feel"  when starting from a dead stop.
Right as you begin to move...there is a "thunk" somewhere in the drive line.

When I bought my 2003 6.0L at the beginning of the year diesel cost less
that regular gas.  Today it was 15 cents more expensive then premium gas.
How come?  Will it ever be less than regular gas again?
