95 Ranger Radio22 Dec 2005 14:26 GMT6
My radio seems to be losing the front speakers. (passenger side kicks in
occasionally, drivers side sounds like it is blown sometimes.) How do I
remove the radio? I tried removing the trim around the radio and a/c

F-150 Repair questions22 Dec 2005 13:57 GMT3
   Hi, I have a 95 F-150 4WD (5.8, E4OD, 150k miles) that we use for
towing.  It's done well, and I've fixed a few annoyances, but it has some
mechanical items I would like an opinion on.  I'm accustomed to doing nearly
all my own work by myself and w/o air tools, but since it ...

I looked at a used 95 bronco xlt yesterday - the body was very good, but had
the usual rust.  What bothered me was the cab mounts, front frame, gas tank,
rear shackles, etc were severely rusted - the metal was just flaking off -
didn't ford use that goo on the frame in 95 to ...

My mother has purchased an RV that is on a 1999 E-350 Chassis.  Since the
beginning, the RV has handled terribly on the road.  It feels very unstable
and is very difficult to keep it going straight on any type of road.  The
driver must continually correct the over/under steer.  Both ...

Help buy used Truck19 Dec 2005 19:40 GMT2
I'm thinking of buying a used truck with not more than 150K miles on it
for about $6000. I've only ever owned a Ford Focus so I have no idea
what to look for or how to begin. I would prefer a 4wd, automatic but
can have long/short bed , single/extended cab. I'd be grateful if
F-150 safety19 Dec 2005 19:32 GMT8
   Hi, all,
Just wanted to pass along a quick F-150 endorsement regarding safety.
Recently my parents were in a head-on smash at highway speed.  A car
came across the median from the opposite direction, into their lane of
F-150 Dash Needed19 Dec 2005 15:29 GMT2
I used to get a catalog of JUST Ford truck parts. Now I need one and can't
find the dang catalog!
I'm looking for a full dash (minus guage assembly) from left to right and
center, too, and can't find anything online.

I had a rattling under the truck. Turns out to be the outer cover of the
converter had separated, and one side was dagling and hitting a cross
member.
Well, I separated the other side and removed both pieces.

Why is the message thread on this gone from the newsgroup?
This truck appears to be very dangerous  and why the thread is deleted
causes some discomfort...Is this newsgroup monitored by Ford? If so, they
should be concerned about a very compromised product. Uncontrolable shaking
