Help. Strange brake problem. 04 Jan 2006 03:25 GMT5
I have a strange brake problem.
When I first get in the car and start down the road everything is OK. As
soon as I hit my brakes to stop, it stops OK but the brake stays on. As long
as I don't touch the brake pedal when first starting out it goes fine. It's
ford diesel truck takes too long to start.03 Jan 2006 17:51 GMT5
My dad has a 1988 Ford F-250 7.3lt diesel truck and it's taking longer
to start up these days.  Sure it's winter but it's also like 55-60 in
the day time when trying to start it.  It get's plugged in at night
and you can feel the engine chassi and it feels warm in the morning.

The tailgate was working when I got the truck a week ago, now,
it is stuck closed and will not release.
I can wiggle it a tin bit on both ends (1/16")

I have a 2000 F150 with 5.4L with 150k miles.  I have noticed that the PVC
valve is making a loud a high speed chattering noise.  I have pulled the PVC
valve out of the valve cover and it seems to be fine. (I shook it and it
rattles meaning that it is not gummed up)  Does anyone ...
