| 2003 F-150 starter problem? | 27 Feb 2006 04:04 GMT | 3 |
Happens intermittently. I get in, insert key, turn on ignition, and nothing. Just a 'click' and it won't start. Dashboard lights are all on so it's not a battery problem. I can say it has only happened in cold weather, after it has been sitting all night or all day. After 3-4 ...

I have a 1984 F150 the transmission shifts to quick. It will shift into third by 25 mph. But you can shift manually and shift when you want it to. Is there an easy fix or not?

I have never owned a pickup and would appreciate opinions of others. Dealer in area has a 2004 ranger, automatic, long bed, 4 cyl engine ( which I prefer because of long commute to work) Has all the regular stuff like air, am-fm cd, etc. Price is $11,500. Is this a good price, ...

| Anyone know why Ford management/engineering makes this decision? | 25 Feb 2006 04:02 GMT | 1 |
The newest version of the 5.4 and 6.8 engines have 3 valves per cylinder. Ford puts these engines in the new trucks but they still put the old version of the engines with only 2 valves per cylinder in the new E series vans. Anyone know a good reason for this?

| 2003 Ford Escape Airbag | 25 Feb 2006 01:49 GMT | 5 |
I was told the airbag harness needs to be replaced. This repair is over $640.00. I am so disgusted. Has anyone had the same experience? Did you have it repaired? Should I just drive without it?

| Has anyone had this problem? | 24 Feb 2006 18:39 GMT | 8 |
First, I searched the archives here and couldn't find anything related so if I missed, I'll stand for the lashing. I have an old 84 F250 that I use mostly just to run around the farm and back and forth to the feed store and lumber yard.
