When i first bought my 04 Ranger 4.0 4x4 auto, i was getting 25 mpg on the freeway, now at 12,000 mi i am only getting 18 mpg on the freeway. I am driving it the same way as when i got it. Any ideas?

May someone here can tell me why my truck backfires when I let off quickly on the gas pedal?I'm on my second muffler,it splits them wide open.Around town it doesn't do it.It seem to only be when I'm going around 55-60mph and let off the gas fast.I replaced the anti backfire

I just bought a 91 F-150, it came without a stereo and the connector has been cut off and I am stuck with a bunch of wires and no idea which they are for so I can't install a stereo. Any help with the colors and what they are for would be a great help.

Both the yellow REAR ABS and the red BRAKE ((!)) ((P)) dashboard lights came on a couple of days ago. The brakes and the parking brake all seem to work fine. I can engage and release the parking brake without a problem. No noises or heat from the rear.
