I have a Light duty 4 wheel F 250 that uses 16x7 inch wheels having a
seven stud pattern.  I am looking for a set of four 17x8 inch having
the seven stud pattern.  Is there someplace that has such wheels?
Thanks for any help.

92 F-150 rear end19 Mar 2006 19:15 GMT6
I have a 92 F-150 with a 5.0L and from what I can tell a 3.55 rear end.
I am not real worried about mt towing capacity as I don't do much of
that.  I was wanting to possibly do some rear end swapping out to maybe
increase the gas mileage a bit.  I know there is a 2.73 ratio that ...
what fits my '82 F-100?18 Mar 2006 18:24 GMT6
Hi Group:
A week ago a woman pulled out in front of me and hit the right front of
my '82 F-100.  I'm tired of playing "phone tag" with her insurance
company.  They had a guy look at my truck, and determined it's a "total
GEAR VENDORS - Gear-Splitting?18 Mar 2006 16:04 GMT5
What do you think of this performance mod?  Anybody done it?
The *GEAR VENDORS* will give you Gear-Splitting to fix those wide ratios
with a gear between each of them when you want it for tremendous gains
in performance (see Final Drive Ratios). Whether you are accelerating
Diesel question18 Mar 2006 10:51 GMT10
I was wondering if anyone here has has used propane injection as a
milage booster.  I have little knowledge about propane injection,
other than ads and articles that proclaim tremendous milage gains.  I
don't believe the milage claims but think there may be enough of an
southern pickup litter residue17 Mar 2006 18:51 GMT14
Most people who have spent much time in and out of the south know that
good old fat southern boys throw litter in the back of their pickups to
be blown out onto the already horribly littered southern roadsides.
What may not be as well known is that there are residual accumulations

1997 F150 computer glitch?17 Mar 2006 03:54 GMT4
I took my recently purchased 1997 Ford F150 in for a California smog check.
It failed, although the emission levels were good.  The failure was due to
two items on the truck's computer system reading wrong.  (The Check Engine
light is on.)  Examination by several mechanics has ...
I'm too western for a pickup or suv17 Mar 2006 01:45 GMT12
The most popular vehicle in the west is the Honda Civic.  The most
popular vehicles in the Old South are pickups.  I find it peculiar that
pickups are so often advertised in western, desert settings and yet the
typical buyer is a good old boy from TN.  He almost never takes it to
Front hub on 2002 F150 4x416 Mar 2006 22:30 GMT1
I was told that my 2002 F150 off-road Fx4 has plastic parts somewhere in
the front hubs and that they are prone to trouble.  If this is true is
there anything I can do to prolong the life of these parts?
Are replacment parts still plastic or metal?

1988 Ford F-150 Electrical question.......16 Mar 2006 00:26 GMT1
Hey fellas it`s me again,
The truck died with no restart. With the key in the "On Position" the tach
jumps around like crazy, and the fuel pump runs erratically. Would a bad
distributor cause a tach to jump like that? I tried a new EEC relay, didn`t
1994 Ranger / Mazda B400015 Mar 2006 21:40 GMT2
The front shocks in my mother's  1994 Mazda B4000  are shot.  It is a 2
wheel drive automatic with the 4.0 engine.
Since there is such a wide variety of shocks to choose from, what are
the suggestions of those on this group?
