| Checking Differential Fluid? | 14 Mar 2006 23:28 GMT | 1 |
I have a 1990 F250 4x4, that has some small leaks in the front differential. I fixed the one in the back, that was easy. However, the front one is a bit more of a mystery, and all the garages around here are total rip offs (why can't I find a good mechanic?).

| Obnoxious horn honk on alarm | 12 Mar 2006 01:27 GMT | 2 |
The F-150 users manual calls it a 'chirp' but it is anything but that. When I turn on the alarm with the remote entry transmitter I get a real loud honk of the horn to let me know the alarm is set. The headlamps and parking lamps flash when I set the alarm so I really don't need ...

I have had the misfortune of living the last several years in a semi-rural, semi-urban part of the south in the TX AR LA MS TN area (one of those states, not including western TX or eastern TN). I have found it to be extremely clannish and cliquish. Many adults here go to

Strange problem, truck runs for about 5 to 10 minutes and then stop. It will spin but doesn't have spark. I checked with a timing light and tried to ground a plug to the manifold. Changed "brain" module on distributor, checked the rotor, cap and coil wire. Checked all the ...

--Spent a pile of time yesterday googling to find RVs listed by towing weights, but with no luck. I'm trying to determine who makes what, in the way of RVs, that are lightweight enough (2400 lbs or less) to be towed by the 3.2 liter Ranger. Anyone got pointers to more useful links?
