I bought a bronco used and i have taken it to a ford dealer ship for
them to check it out like five times because whenever i start it it
slowly starts to go below one on the rpm thing and then makes  a weird
noisee, but they keep saying nothing is wrong and then find little

1998 F150 - just got home went inside the house for 10mins
came back out to go off tryed to start the truck it won't start
sounds like it has a dead battery but the battery is good-
im thinking the prob. is the starter.

My '82 inline 6 always has oil flung around the engine compartment, and
the head and valve cover gaskets are always sopping wet, but the oil
level (dipstick) is always fine...I hear doing the head might be $500,
so that's out, but the valve cover gasket looks like an easy job, with

The truck has 140,000 kms (87K miles) on it and original shocks.  I
drive mostly in the city but take a few trips out of town on forestry
roads carrying a very small camper.  It's probably about 600lbs load

When will Ford put a V6 Diesel in a F150??  Now that would be nice, a F150
that gets 30 mpg.

My longbed '82 has little tabs that are supposed to slide in when you
pull the latch up - it seems the problem is at the right side where the
"tabs" slide into the truck.
Any fixes, besides "get a junkyard replacement"?

Without going into a long rant about a chain auto repair store that
just tried to rip me off, kept my truck for a MONTH, etc. etc. I hope

I noticed this last that I was getting a clunk when I was starting out
on a right hand turn.  I had a look this morning and found that the
driver side stabilizer/anitsway bar link was loose.  The bolt had
snapped inside the link so the end of the bar was banging on the top of

Just thought I'd update on the O2 sensor problem I posted on a while
back.  I was getting periodic P0153 OBDII codes, meaning: 02 Circuit
Slow Response (Bank 2, Sensor 1) which is the drivers side, pre CAT sensor.
I was only getting warnings on this sensor and not both front ones ...
