Recently installed 429 with C6 in 59 F100.
Trans will not shift into high gear.  When engine speed and road speed call
for 3rd gear feels like trans goes into neutral, coasts with no engine
braking until speed is down to allow shift into 2nd gear.  Rebuilt trans,

Im a distributor and can get sets of 8 new DG508 coils out to Ford owners
for 140.00 per set. I dont know if this would help anyone out, so I am

      i been thinking,,dangerous i know,,,but..why dont car and truck
makers put a screen on cars/trucks that tell you exactly what is wrong
with  it when a problem arises ?? the information is in the vehichle
computer,,but you need an expensive tool to get it out. so you gotta go

Is there a way to disable the anti-theft on a 2001 Ranger?  The owners
manual says turning the key to  position 4 does a "manual disable" but it
seems to re-enable it when you turn the key back to the lock position.

I am wondering if a stering damper might help.  Anyone know of a

I’m a DIY person.  The airbag light is on in my 2001 Ford Escape.
What do I do?  Can I fix this?  Maybe a plug is loose or something?

...well... not *exactly*, but let me explain..
Truck in question is a 1999 Ranger 4x2 stepsie with 112K on it, rear
antilocks only and all original equipment (excluding tires).  Just like
the topic that i recently saw in here, my rear brakes 'stick' in the

I have a '94 Mazda B4000 with a 4.0.  The owners manual says to use
10w-30 but the lable in the engine compartment says to use 5w-30.
Which is correct ?

A year ago I had antifreeze in the oil of my 1993 Ford Ranger (4.0 litre
V6). The mechanic found warped heads, planed them down, reinstalled
everything and it was okay til now.
