I have a chance to buy a nice loking 3/4 ton 1970 Ford PU w/a 360 and
auto trans for just $1000.  It seemed to run okay, sounded good,
supposedly has 91,000 miles.  However, its leaks fluids likes crazy. AT

Where is the "Black Box" on a F-150?13 Apr 2006 02:44 GMT29
I read that there is a computer (Black Box) somewhere on board of late model
vehicles that records all data such as speeds, brake pressure, date, seat
belts usage, and so on. I have a 2000 F-150 and I want to disable this
thing, but I have no idea of where to find it. Anybody know?  ...

I have an 88 F-350 with the 460 motor. I see a 3 inch hose between the
water pump and the intake manifold. Can this be replaced without
removing the water pump? I'm about to replace the hoses and coolant
and would like to replace this hose as well. I have no idea how old it

advice for replacing suspension in bronco II 89 please11 Apr 2006 03:17 GMT4
I have a ford bronco II 89 and i believe the suspension is bad

thinking the suspension needs replaced, right?
Trailer Question - '95 Bronco10 Apr 2006 13:40 GMT26
The Bronco I bought has a 6-pin trailer connector on the back. Normally, a
6-pin connector means there is a brake controller somewhere. The wires
leading to the connector have Ford factory stickers on them, but the hitch
itself is from a local supplier in the city where the truck ...
1998 Ford F-15010 Apr 2006 05:41 GMT1
When the truck reaches 68 mph and above a high pitch squeal is present
coming from the front end passenger side. Changing from 5 to neutral,
turning the wheel quickly left - right, right - left doesn't change it. I
can reach 68 mph in 4th gear. The squeal is the same. Could it be ...

Different ways to bleed the clutch09 Apr 2006 17:33 GMT1
If your newer Ford or Mazda hydraulic clutch isn't leaking fluid out,
but has so much trapped air in it that the clutch barely disengages,
then there are several ways to bleed the air out.
Reverse Fluid Injection is supposed to be one of the best ways but if
6.0 Turbo diesel Mileage09 Apr 2006 02:14 GMT15
Before I bought mine, I seem to remember claims that the 6.0 Ltr Turbo
Diesel was going to get better mileage than other Ford Diesels.  I am
getting around 14.5 mpg.  What's going on?
Hybrids..08 Apr 2006 17:50 GMT11
--Went and had a look at the GMC "hybrid" 1500 the other day,
thinking it would be nice to slip into something with decent fuel economy
and better mileage than the Ranger. Well, dream on gang: it was a POS. The
corporate philosophy (they had a little flyer describing their ...
04 F150 Wiper Arm Travel08 Apr 2006 17:42 GMT1
On my '04 F150,  the wiper arm on the driver's side doesn't seem to have
enough total travel to wipe the windshield completely to the left side
(looking out from the driver's seat).  It leaves about 5" unwiped next to
the roof pillar, and this is annoying with the amount of ...
