I am contemplating buying an f250 FWD automatic for some beach work ,ie
pulling a 16 foot fibreglass boat behind me.I have been told that the
c6 auto in these trucks are prone to failure in this sort of
application.I not a mechanical person but is there anyone out there

I have a 2001 F-150 5.4 V8.  I am looking to make an increase in mpg
and also some ponies.  I am considerinig getting a K&N intake or a
similar (cheaper) one.  Also i was looking at exhaust systems.  I dont
want it to be annoyingly loud but i want to get a deeper tone and

I'm looking into different trucks I can commute to work in.  Buddy of mine
has an 05 reg cab 2wd 5.4 SWB and says he gets 20 mpg.  I think he's
bullshitting.  I need something that gets roughly that mileage though.  Does

I have a 1995 Ford Club Wagon (econoline E-150) van.  It has an exhaust
leak from a flex pipe that sits between the Catalytic converter and the
muffler.  This flew pipe looks like one of those old Chinese finger
pull puzzles.

any help is appreciated.  I need to know how to wire a ford charging
system.  The following are the parts involved : Battery, remote starter
solonoid, ignition switch, alternator and external voltage regulator.
The voltage regulator has connections labelled (I) (A) (S) (F).

I have a '98 Ranger showing the EGR Flow Inefficient code.
It starts off and is ok for the most part after I get going.  I'd like to
solve this but understand that just throwing a new EGR valve at it may not

I have a 2002 or 2003 F-550 XL super duty. The parking lights wont
come on but the clearance lights do. If i jumper a hotwire to the
parking lights and then remove they come on and STAY ON reqardless
where the switch is. The switch is new. also, the only way to get them

I have a 1995 Club Wagon (E-150) van.  Aft of the Catalytic converter
(between cat and muffler) there is a section of flex pipe.  (It look
like one of the old finger tricks).  It's leaking and making noise.

I recently purchased a set of  Lightning Headlights from Ford Racing
Parts.When I tried to onstall them ,none of the mounting screws or anything
seemed to fit but the outside of the lights fit perfectly around the
grill.What gives?It says in the catalog they fit a '97 to 2003 ...
