A/C puddles30 Jun 2006 11:30 GMT1
I've got an 02' Ranger 4 cyl.
Last week I noticed a puddle on the floormat under the A/C ductwork.
OK, so the A/C drain is plugged, I crawled under there to clean it out but
couldn't find one.
Ranger Bumper...29 Jun 2006 22:41 GMT1
New (used, but just bought the truck recently) Ranger owner here. It's
a '98 Stepside.
Here's the problem...other than the standard egr related engine light
thing...due to my own stupidity, forgetting that I'm driving a stick
Underwater Trucking -- now what do I do?28 Jun 2006 18:57 GMT29
Ok, I really did a bonehead thing. I tried to drive my 4x2 88 Ranger 2.0
through a flooded road. The water was 1 to 1 1/2 feet high.  I would have
been fine, but I went a bit to fast and pushed water up high enough to suck
it in the air intake. That killed the truck of course. I ...

1986 Ranger with 88 2.9 V6-  Ran OK for a while, replaced clutch, ran again
for a short time and then died.   Replaced distributor and spark module and
started up.  Ran for a few miles and died again.  Put a Donor (good)
distributor and spark module in and still no start.  It ...
F-250 Highboy Power Steering Problem27 Jun 2006 23:16 GMT3
I have an 1977 F250 4wd highboy.  The steering is seized and I'm having a
hard time finding parts.  Mechanic says it needs the "two power steering
units and the hoses". I already have a new pump. He also said I could easily
convert it to manual steering.  But I think I'd regret ...
01 Expedition transmission locking up27 Jun 2006 18:35 GMT8
My 2001 Expedition will seem to be running and driving fine and then
all of a sudden the transmission seems to lock up. Once you slow down
you can give it gas and drive it again. The transmission fluid is clean
and there was no evidence of wear when I pulled the transmission pan.
2001 F30 Tranny Problem27 Jun 2006 04:29 GMT5
I just bought a 2001 F350 4x4 with 137,000 miles from a dealer in Ocala
FL who did give me a 30 day powertrain warranty.
Starting the truck up and driving it home, including an over nite stop,
I had no problems. This was just  days ago, on flat land. Yesterday and
? Giving Dog Water while In Car: Best Method25 Jun 2006 22:44 GMT17
What's the best way to provide water to a dog in a vehicle? I use a
plastic Folgers coffee container on the floor of a pickup truck. It
works, but occasionally it gets knocked over. There must be a better
way.
more transmissions questions25 Jun 2006 16:54 GMT5
I am not so sure my tranny is shot.. I feel the main problem is early
shifting. I can shift the transmission manually and it seems ok.. when
its in drive and I take off it seems that it does shift too soon as well
as when Shifting from second to third it makes a groan and then ...
ABS light stays on25 Jun 2006 06:32 GMT5
I have a 2000 Ford Expedition with about 56K miles.  I have had the
brakes replaced and also had new tires (due to the recall) replaced
around 30K miles.  Soon after having my tires rotated a while ago, I
noticed a problem in that my ABS dash light lights up (as all other
Nightmares or Accolades for 06 or 07 F250 powerstroke25 Jun 2006 03:04 GMT20
I am seriously considering purchasing an 06 or 07 Ford F250 with the
Powerstroke drive train. I was wondering if anybody has any info them
since they changed the transmission in 04. I know they used to have a
lot of problems with the older tranmissions and was wondering if they

electrical problem or is my truck possessed?24 Jun 2006 00:50 GMT3
2 times the last week, my truck wipers went on for 1 swipe then shut off.
It was dry and sunny, and I didn't hit the switch.
Anyone else had this problem?   2000 F150 supercab 4X4 Lariat
Pro-Blend Below-4023 Jun 2006 02:46 GMT11
Has anybody tried this stuff? Can you tell me if you'd recommend it or not
in a '94 F150? I have an aging cooling system. I am worried about the old
belts developing leaks from all the hot stop-and-go driving going to and
from work every day. My problem is, if I replace the hoses ...
