Here are the humbling specifications of what real Americans drive and will continue to drive despite Socialist protestations. These vehicles will continue to be the backbone of the American ego--I mean economy. Ford F-250 Super Duty 4x4

| '99 250 rear end | 05 Jul 2006 14:41 GMT | 1 |
My '99 F250 Super Cab 5.4 2WD (not SD) has a problem with the 3.73 limited slip rear end; the clutches are seized, resulting in wheel hop noise on tight turns, probably chewing up the tires prematurely too. My mechanic got them freed up but when warm or towing my fifth wheel ...

I have the 2 piston front calipers on this truck. The parts store says that there are 2 different widths of rear shoes. Does anyone know if the wider shoes correspond with the larger, 2 piston front pads?

I'm looking at a new F350 King Ranch 4x4 Diesel Duelly. We went and drove it yesterday afternoon and returned to the dealership right before closing time, so I'm pretty sure that the truck wasn't moved or even started after we left.

I was asking questions about my truck which has a V-10 Triton a 1997 with 70K miles on it and one of the cylinders is low. It looks like it is a valve situation. I was wondering has anyone ever had any positive results from something that is added to the fuel or oil? I bought this

| Battery Charging - Is a Disconnect Necessary? | 04 Jul 2006 05:58 GMT | 6 |
A quick question on charging batteries. I have a 2001 E350 with 2 batteries--1 regular one for the engine, and a deep discharge one for the RV. Is it OK to charge both at once without disconnecting them from the usual wiring? If this is OK, should the charger be set for deep ...

I a have 1978 clubwagon E-250 with the 460 and dual zone A/C. What is involved in retrofitting the A/C with 134a refrigerant? Is the valve on the curved tube just to the right of the compressor the low pressure fitting, or a high pressure fitting?

| Auto transmission questions. | 03 Jul 2006 17:11 GMT | 5 |
Have a 1992 E 250 van. Bought new. Has auto transmission I think it called an E04. Always maintained as user book shows. Has 51000 miles. Ever since new it seems there is too much slippage when starting up in gear. Engine races too much, not a positive acceleration. Other brands ...

I have been trying to put freon in my 1995 F150. The compressor will not run to allow the system to take the freon. I know the compressor to be good because I have had to have freon added each year. I have been told that I need to jumper something to get it to take the freon.
