4 point socket for draining coolent?22 Aug 2006 04:02 GMT1
I am trying to drain the coolent on my 2001 F150 V6.  On the engine
block is a 4 point 3/8" bolt.  Because of the location, I could not
get a wrench around it and get enough leverage to unscrew it.  I tried
a 7/16" 12 point socket, but it didn't budge.  Any suggestions?  Can I

Does anyone have any thoughts on using a tounge mounted rack for
carrying a motorcycle on a 2004 Ford Ranger Super Cab XLT FXII 4x4?
The companies that makes the racks (Versa Haul and Hitch Haul are 2 of
them) claim that the rack can hold up to 500 lbs.  But I'm not sure if

Hi - I need to replace the left rear brake bulb in my 1997 Ford Ranger.  I
removed the two screws from the lens, but I can't figure how to remove the
lens itself.  It seems where is some kind of sleeve on the lens on the bed

(four flashes, a brief delay, then seven flashes, repeats three times, then

Something on my 92 f 150 5.0 v8 is drawing juice (several amps)
continuously, even with key off.  I've think I've ruled out the starter and
relay, and have pulled all fuses indiviually without success.  This happen
to anyone here before?

I have a 99 F350 4x4 dualie diesel longbed that I use to tow a 5th
wheel. I recently added some gauges to watch the tranny temp, and
installed a auxillary tranny cooler. I asked about all this here a
couple of years ago, and finally got around to installing the cooler.

My Ranger has 60K. I was told it needs lower ball joints... it seems early but the tires cup on the
inside. (I rotate every 7K). Any one else with this?  Also I would like to replace the Goodyears
with Michelins to get a quieter ride (I don't off-road)... Comments?????

The plug wires on my 1995 Ford Ranger  6 cylnder are soooo hard to get
off especially the passenger side , is there a tool or trick to getting
them off without damaging them?
