It's time to haul some plywood. Any tricks I should know? A test fit with a sheet I already have suggests that it will fit between the wheel wells, but (no surprise) I can either have it flat or the tailgate closed. Is there anything I should know to avoid a cameo on the local ...

I have seen a few articles about removing axle block spacers to lower the bed wall height of 4X4's. The 3 or 4 that I have read address none of the consequences for this operation. Are there any? It seems to drop the bed 2" or 4" is going to have some implications below

| Work Vehicle: best mpg | 25 Nov 2006 02:48 GMT | 14 |
I'm looking at vans and trucks, of course it's going to have to be a Diesel because I want the best mileage I can get. Where I live, diesel costs the same as premium gas, so I do not see a gas engine comparing. Seems like Ford (E350) has the most options (boxes, etc) and

I just bought this nice XLT Lariet edition 4X4. 150K on the odometer, apparently 120K on the engine. Took it to the shop for a major lookover (don't want the acronym for FORD to come into effect if possible). replaced oxygen sensor, general tune up, but the bad boy still has a ...

| F150 oil pan - ok to sand and paint? | 23 Nov 2006 02:14 GMT | 10 |
One of the first things I noted about my then future truck was a lot of rust on the oil pan. I have since read that rusting through the pan is a common problem. Is there any reason to not sand and paint it? Any preference for paint to use?

Hey all....I own a 2004 F150 Lariet Supercrew. I bought it new with 3 miles on the odometer. It has 24K on it and it's still under warranty. I don't know if this is a known issue or it's normal. My transmission will not hold on an upgrade. I have to ride the

I have a 2002 Ford F-150 with approx 72,000 miles on it. The other day I heard a "sloshing" noise coming from the passenger side front. I initially ignored it thinking it would "Go Away". Unfortunately, it is not "Gone Away". So I began investigating today and discovered that ...
