| 98' Mazda B4000 RWD 5spd HARD to shift into 1st from stop | 10 Dec 2006 00:12 GMT | 6 |
No grinding just hard to get into gear with clutch all the way down. While at a stop, effort is less if you go from 2nd to 1st gear then let out the clutch. My syncros ? Trans oil and rear diff oil have recently been changed and there is no difference.

| Torque-dearth is wussifying American workers | 08 Dec 2006 16:01 GMT | 22 |
I think Ford needs to come out with a V-10 diesel, outputting at least 950 ft/lbs of raw, asphalt-abrading, red white and blue torque. I feel inadequate driving the current PowerStroke models. A construction worker in a Komatsu dozer smirked at me last week and they're even

| Service Engine Light | 07 Dec 2006 20:27 GMT | 1 |
I have a 2002 F150 with a 4.2 and the service engine light is on. The code is a vacuum leak, or so I was told. The place that used the scanner said that it was most likely the intake gasket and bolts that it was a pretty common problem on the 4.2's. Anyways they had cleared the ...

Does anybody have any opinions about the 6-0 powerstroke going into a 4x4 150, or any other diesel conversion that you may know about. I have been looking at the Cummins/Dodge combo, but I just saw a pretty nice '79 F150 for sale w/ brand new tires, no rust, and a friendly

| Rough Idle help on 88 351 windsor | 05 Dec 2006 13:30 GMT | 1 |
Have this nice old truck and the idle is really inconsistent. It will bog, then over-rev trying to recover then hold idle for a few. And then repeat again... Happens more when engaged in D, especially at a stop sign or light. I have sprayed around the intake gasket with carb

| Code Scanners | 04 Dec 2006 14:53 GMT | 5 |
I've been having trouble with my 2002 F350 7.3 for over three months now. The only info I've gotten is "water in the fuel" or "bad injectors". I took it to a shop, but it ran fine for them, so I was charged for putting it on their mechine, but was told there is nothing

I'm trying to find out what model Ford in-dash changers are compatible with a 2000 F150. The truck currently has a single disc in dash unit that is original to the truck, but I want to replace it with a changer. I've found several models, but can't find information for what models

| How much should I expect to pay for a 1999 E350 Chateau? | 02 Dec 2006 10:55 GMT | 1 |
I may have a chance to buy a 1999 Ford E350 Chateau van. It is pretty much loaded and only has ~ 30K or less. It's a V8 with most of the bells and whistles, along with 4 captains chairs and a rear bench seat, making it a 7 passenger vehicle. It also has new Michelin tires on it ...
